When Layton Carpentry takes on a project we make sure to use recyclable products, energy saving power tools, and locally made materials to reduce the harmful emissions created from transportation. > Decent  work when it was done, but dealing with Josh is a PITA. I hired this business to build/install new kitchen cabinets/countertops, as well as some wall-mounted shelving. Nearly every step of the way, I had to contact and remind him of the work his business said they’d be doing. this last time, I waited over three months… And when I contacted Josh, he seemed to have completely forgotten the quote and work to be done. First time is a misunderstanding, second time is irresponsible, and by the third it’s fair to construe  a personal slight. Additionally, one day his contractor just left in the middle of the job without saying a word… leaving a mess of tools and materials all over my floor. Unaccountable, unprofessional, and untrustworthy. Avoid.

However, as a result of this being a custom service, a small caveat: I would make sure to have ALL details written and confirmed, and then signed by both parties, with a copy for each. I was specific on wanting a vanity cabinet done euro-style, but it was delivered face-frame. Not a huge deal and it was still gorgeous, but because it was my word against their's, I basically ended up paying more for less.

He visited our home to bid the job and gave us a fair price within a few minutes, which is exactly what we paid when all was said and done (no hidden fees or up-charges!).  We looked at cabinet and laminate samples at his shop at our convenience and were able to immediately schedule the job after deciding.  He was also very friendly when we needed to postpone the install a few days to accommodate a delay on our part.

**Q: inspiration** *(in Photo Questions)*

Such great use of space! What inspired this design?

A: It was really out of necessity to try and give our customers another option other than the plastic Lazy Susan that always breaks. We also have come up with our super Susan that allows customers to have drawers and still have storage on the side as well as the back and it all spins around.
