He started painting rental apartments and took two buses each way to work while using his suitcase to carry all of his work supplies. Knowing little English, he enlisted his two sons to help grow the family business to what it is today. No painting ever occurred. He organized the garage one day, and took off a storm window the next week to do some prep work. > Nik never returned our phone calls or emails. I called a total of four other business for estimates and Stephen's quote was in the middle between the other three. Let me also add that one of the companies that provided an estimate didn't even come to the house and simply looked at a picture from google earth. Stephen goes out of his way to show up (on time if I may add), look at the property, and provide a realistic quote. No surprises for you or him. Smart man. > > I provided Stephen 70% deposit of the balance to hold the start date. Then provided another 15% on the start day of my project and the last portion upon completion of the project. All transactions were recorded on my estimate form and signed as proof of payment.
