The main floor already has an engineered cherry hardwood that I dislike but don't want to replace or refinish if possible. Would it look strange to have a different hardwood on the stairs (I'd love to do a lighter bamboo floor)? My suspicion is that it would. Otherwise, I suppose I would match the cherry as best as I can and use it throughout the entire house (yuck). Pictures are of where the staircases are visible from the main floor. Or do you just pay them over the surface? A: hello kate, most customers prefer the carpet tiles being glued downed to surface.
