Encantada Designs was founded in 1994 to provide residential and commercial clients with exceptional interior design and decorating services. After more than two decades serving the Greater Ann Arbor, Michigan area, Encantada Designs has expanded west. In 2016, we opened a new office in Tucson, Arizona. With a team of skilled and experienced professionals, we are equipped to undertake interior design projects of any size.

For more than 20 years, lead designer and owner Cindy has designed both residential and commercial interiors, and has earned an exceptional reputation for high quality, cost effective design, as well as a deep commitment to outstanding personal service. > I have worked with Cindy multiple times over the years and have always been thrilled with the results. Whether it was choosing paint colors and designing the powder room in my San Jose condo, re-arranging existing furnishings and decor in a way that made much more sense, or figuring out how to integrate a weird pass-through room into a bedroom to make a master bathroom suite, her suggestions have always been great.  One of my favorites was when she saw a 1930s sideboard at a second hand shop and told me it would make a great bar under the open staircase in my condo. She was right! It was really unique and looked great for only $249.

Now that she has moved to Tucson and opened Encantada Designs, Cindy is helping me with my current home - a mid-Century modern. She is particularly gifted in her ability to choose and combine color and texture, and expand on your basic ideas by pulling in themes and styles you don't even realize you like. It's like she has a sixth sense about will work for you even if you don't know it yourself! She has suggested things I never would have thought of, like going with a very light shade of pink in my bedroom, and she got me to think differently about what could be done in my space. Give her a few ideas and photos and Encantada Designs will help you pull it all together within your budget. Don't think that using a designer means you have to pay $3,000 for a high-end couch. Cindy and her team will help you figure out how to have style without paying more than you want to.

She shopped for a hardwood-looking tile for us based on the existing furniture in our home and brought us several to choose from. Our bathroom needed updating and Cindy shopped for our granite counter and the hardware. Everything has turned out beautiful. Her color suggestions are right on. I am so glad that I didn't try to do all the updating shopping and decisions by myself. I have never used a pro before in decorating, was a little worried at what the cost might be, but her fees are very reasonable! Cindy made it an enjoyable experience! She also uses an experienced contractor who has been very willing to work with our schedule. I would highly recommend Encantada Designs!
