Both worked with our local contractor to help and revise the project as we moved along to produce an incredible home. > What I have appreciated is that Terry came into our jobs trying to make our household work in the new one: she didn't insist (as many designers do) that we get rid of this and that, but worked to incorporate our things into the design of the project. One of her greatest attributes is in advising us that we don't need to necessarily do all that we think we do. She is very cost conscious and will many times advise that we don't need to spend on X because it won't be worth the money spent. But, if you want to do an interior fireplace - the fireplace can be wood or metal stud framed with drywall and mud over the top.
