First of all Daniel builds great homes that require little maintenance and even less energy than most homes on the market. The layouts and the homes are Smart. Years after each purchase, I reached out to Daniel for a survey and he was able to get this back to me the same day. Last week I needed a report from the original design of the foundation. Again he got back to me quickly during holiday season and explained exactly what the inspector to sell the house would need. He set this up and even secured $250 discount from the architect. Daniel and his team are a class act during the process and for years to come. We have sent many people over the years to Verde and will always use them in the future. We reviewed the project with the owner for a year, used his recommended designer, used his recommended engineering before actually signing the contract to have a house built. The contract was to be completed within a year. The owner was attentive prior to signing and paying the initial funds. From that point everything changed, the owner was never seen and had total disreguard for the project, in fact in six months he only agreed to meet us two times and would not respond to many emails or phone calls. The worst of it was the actions of his lead project manager not only in his actions but words from deceiving, giving excuses that the job was thrown in his lap, run arounds with changing the design without our approval, unwillingness to answer basic questions, no schedule, no budget, everybody else loves him and the list goes on and on. So after no clear direction of this project and a total lack of trust in them, we terminated the contract after 8 months with only the grading and part of the slab completed. The only excuse I got out of the owner was that he "underestimated the project" but that excuse falls short for the way the lead project manager treated us as a customer.
