In our most recent project, Hillson Homes completed the renovation of our kitchen, ensuite bathroom and main bathroom. Once again, we were extremely pleased with the quality of work that was completed on time and within budget by the Hillson Homes team. Dan, Mike, and Keri-Dawn providing outstanding support throughout our project, providing great design ideas and being responsive to our questions from start to finish. Dan, being a professional engineer registered with APEGA, enhanced our confidence that any work performed, would be completed properly and our dealings would be in a professional manner. Dan made himself available to us on site to review potential homes we found that could be renovated; pointing out positives and negatives of each existing home and cost estimates on any homes that had potential to move forward on. Once a home for renovation was decided on; we engaged Hillson Homes and an interior designer Hillson recommended. We worked very well with the designer. A detailed cost estimate was provided based on a mutually agreed design of the renovation. The site foreman assigned to the project was extremely personable, available and patient with all our questions during the renovation process. An agreed to start date was met, the renovation was significant and would take 4 months and that time was met. Costs have come in very close to estimates; in fact we are expecting it to be slightly under. The follow-up after completion has been excellent with site visits by the site foreman to review any minor deficiencies and engage the trades to make repairs quickly and efficiently. On a monthly basis I received detailed reports regarding the work completed and an analysis of the costs incurred in relation to the proposed budget.
