A: The dark stone looks like "jet mist" granite. I've used it in a project before and think it looks just about the same. **Q: Paint color** *(in Photo Questions)* Can you provide the paint color? A: Great. That's exactly what I was thinking. Thanks! **Q: Improve this kitchen without major work** *(in Design Dilemma)* Recently bought this home. The cabinets are oak and deeply hand scrapped. Would like to change color but don't want a more distressed look, a darker look nor the expense of having them filled, sanded and then painted. I'm stuck right? I will be changing lights, changing backsplash, hardware, etc. little things. What else can update this look? Don't want to replace the dark granite (it's in great shape) but would shape one piece of it like the island. Thank you!
