**Q: Is this a marble slab in shower** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is this full thickness ?...Any comments on install, maintenance in a shower

A: Yes, it is a 3/4" carrara marble slab.  Installation is straight forward by an experienced stone fabricator (but it will cost more than tile) - no need to reinforce walls. As far as maintenance, (after it has been sealed properly ) - just rinse with hand-shower after each use to remove soap deposits and squeeguee to dry and avoid stains and mold than could discolor the stone (as it is very porous and it can absorb stains).  A hand-held shower is essential in a setup like this to keep glass and marble clean.
