Good luck with your project. **Q: What would you do with this bathroom/laundry dilemma?** *(in Design Dilemma)* I am remodeling a small home right now and I am stuck on what to do with the bathroom space and laundry space. I have the house drawn in Autodesk Homestyler to show the different options I have thought of. Does anyone else have any ideas? We have decided that we will not relocate the shower unit or the toilet, so keep that in mind. So would you rather have a bathroom with the washer and dryer behind a closet or a separate bathroom and laundry room. (Resulting in a very small laundry room.) Also, we do not want to use a stackable option for the washer and dryer. A: Is this a main bathroom in the home? If so, you may want to keep the laundry separate, this way one person can be doing laundry and not interfere with somone needing to shower or use the bathroom. **Q: Shower ceiling** *(in Design Dilemma)* Should we tile the shower ceiling? A: I always try to advise my clients to do what I do myself, all of my tub/ shower ceilings are tiled. It is the easiest maintenance. Subtle shades of cream, blue-gray and shades of copper brown in the tile. Not as white as initially thought A: Please make sure that the mother of pearl that you purchased can be used in a shower. Not all MOP products can be. **Q: Help with wood floors please.** *(in Design Dilemma)* Is it possible to use two different wood floors on the same level in a home. A: You can use a different wood if it's in a different area. Make sure that it looks like you did it for a reason. Use a different size board, turn the wood on a diagonal, use a parquet or use a border around the room.
