> As first time homeowners we felt very fortunate to be introduced to Brook Clark from Seventy Acres Landscape Architecture and Design by our gardener and arborist. They both spoke very highly of Brook and we enjoyed meeting her at our home and walking around our property. She was very open to our thoughts while also giving us many ideas to consider, including how to incorporate existing shrubs into a new design. Brook personally presented us with a beautiful final design - explaining all the details. During the instillation Brook was on site directing which existing foliage needed to be removed / replanted and placing all the new shrubs and trees. The finished project was a huge transformation to our home and we could not be happier !

A: Hi Brenda -- In this photo there are Little Lime Hydrangeas and Lo & Behold Blue Chip Dwarf Butterfly Bush.

I think there roses, a tree rose.  There beautful, with such dark leave, which leave me to think that maybe there not roses. could you please help me with the name of this plant. It's a lovely garden.

A: Yes, you're correct, they are a super hot pink rose standard. My mother always added a bit of Epsom salts to the base of her roses to get the leaves nice and dark...
According to the National Gardening Association:  
Many rosarians agree that Epsom
salts-treated planats produce more new canes at the bottom of the plant
(bottom breaks) and darker green foliage. Recommendations on how much to
use vary, but generally you can apply 1/2 cup of granules in spring
before buds first begin to open and 1/2 cup in fall before leaves drop.
Apply a foliar spray (1 tablespoon per gallon of water per foot of shrub
height) after the leaves open in spring and again at flowering.

A: This is a hot pink rose standard -- it requires additional staking support as it get's quite top heavy when in full bloom!!
