> Norstone has been a fantastic company with whom to work! Mandy Harlan understands CustomerSupport and provides it without exception! The product, Planc Lavastone in platinum, looks beautiful in my kitchen as well!

**★★★★★ — Corey Bodner, July 2018**

> We used the Norstone Ebony Aksent stone for our outdoor kitchen and fire pit. These basalt stones worked great to complement the small space with our pool and patio. Mandy was very helpful along the way and everything turned out spectacular. Everyone of our friends complemented the way it makes the backyard pop!

> The stone panels look absolutely seamless - a big issue for us in our selection of Norstone. The colors are amazing and we have bought coordinating furniture based on their colors. The whole project is a total transformation of this dated brick wall with mantle into a sleeker, more modern wall of art. Everyone who comes in has noticed and approved. It is everything we hoped for.

> We've had the pleasure of working with Norstone on two separate occasions and both times they've provided amazing customer service and an excellent product. We used the Ebony Basalt tile and the Charcoal Rock panels for two different fireplace surround makeover projects with great success. They arrived intact, on-time and installed perfectly. The one time we thought we had a bit of an issue with the delivery (it turned out we didn't!) our sales agent, Ross, and his boss were incredibly responsive, quick to jump in to try and fix it, and so polite through the whole fire drill, especially considering we had just miscounted our delivery and the fault was ours. We will be using them again and again as projects arise.

> My Norstone 3D tile is amazing. It provided the look I wanted and was so easy to install. Mandy was amazing.

> We have utilized the Charcoal and Ivory rock panel systems by Norstone. The product is excellent to work with and provides a beautiful finish. At first I was concerned regarding the potential to "see" the seams of the panels. However, because of the Quality Control that Norstone utilizes in the construction of their panels once the panel systems are installed it is impossible to locate the seams. I have not yet had a client that was disappointed with the finished installed product.

> Amazing customer service. The product was as described and arrived in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company.

> We are in the process of completing a home build. We were looking for stone to put around (3) fireplace. Found NorstoneUSA on Houzz.com. I live in Southern Indiana and went through their excellent website. I was quickly responded to by a regional contact over a weekend who immediately acted on our limited timeline to send me samples of the grey and ebony basalt tiles. Even though we went with another stone product for expediency - I would strongly recommend Norstone for it's professionalism, website friendly to end user. I will keep Norstone in mind for other projects, and highly recommend working with this company.

> I just used the White Quartz Norstone rock panels for a feature wall in my great room. We are in love!! It was easy to install (we did it ourselves) and it looks amazing. You can see pictures on my profile. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I also used their barnwood tiles for my backsplash. The stone and wood combination is amazing!

**★★★★★ — Zoltan Construction LLC, Feb. 2014**

> We have Norstone in our office conference room and we are extremely happy with how it looks and how easy it was to install. We get a ton of compliments from our customers and other professionals who we meet with in our office.

**Comment from NorstoneUSA:**

> Thanks Zoltan Construction - Great looking conference room you've got there!

**★★★★★ — dmcgowan48, Oct. 2013**

> Good selection of natural stone. Good quality and service. I have not purchased but observed the classic look but yet modern style.

**★★★★★ — pcson, Oct. 2013**

> I spent a lot of time researching different options to find the perfect stacked stone for my living room fireplace. The Norstone product exceeded my expectations for quality and ease of installation, and at a good price! I've received so many compliments on the color and uniqueness of the product.
> The Customer Service throughout the entire purchasing process was great as well - they really know their product and are happy to help with any questions!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Master Bath Makeover** *(in Polls)*

Hello all,
I’m looking to redo my Master bath. I am thinking of replacing the jacuzzi with a soak tub, and upgrading the vanity for a farmhouse wooden vanity. I’m also thinking of upgrading the shower with a glass door and long white subway tile.
As for the colors, I’m thinking a herringbone pattern of black charcoal tile and then white subway tile along with the white tub. Then black fixtures.
I posted some Before pics below along with the new design elements. Do any of you have any other suggestions:recommendations? Thanks so much!

A: Have you considered adding stacked stone to one of the walls? Here's some bathrooms we've done that might give you some inspiration. Let us know if you have any questions.

**Q: Two rooms need ideas** *(in Paint)*

Kitchen. need paint color, lighting, backsplash, window treatments. Tile was installed not long ago.
Three season room. need seat covers replaced? Window treatments, paint color? These rooms are next to each other.

A: Have you considered adding stacked stone veneers to part of the walls?

**Q: Help with Updating a 1997 Colonial Style exterior** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I'm closing on this home in a few weeks.
Long story short, this wasn't my first pick. I fell in love with a 1996 contemporary style home that needed some work on the interior but I loved the exterior. (Pic of that house in comments below).
Now i'm having the reverse issue with this home. The interior has been updated but the exterior feels dated. The garage door will be replaced regardless. Landscaping will be cleaned up and refreshed. What can i do (short of replacing all the vinyl siding - which I'm not opposed to, just wouldn't be able to do it right away) to update this homes exterior?
Thanks in advance!

A: The wainscoat idea you have is definitely the best option for the existing architecture in place. I'm attaching a photo of a project that used our stone a couple years ago. This ochre / neutral colored stone was good for the color scheme they had. If you are keeping the white color on the house then a darker grey / charcoal color would probably make the most sense. Let me know if you have any questions, as I'd be happy to answer any!

**Q: Kitchen Accents** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Please give me some advice on how I can accent this kitchen. Looking for little things that maybe I can place that will break up the beige and brown. I was thinking of maybe adding some greenery. What do you think?

**Q: It’s finally backsplash time!** *(in Home Decorating)*

KITCHEN

SCULLERY/PANTRY

Just finished up a new build (actually almost 6 months ago) and I finally found a tiler who I know and trust will do a great job (good tilers are not easy to come by).
I need splashes in two places...the main kitchen and our pantry/scullery. Here is a link to our new build which has photos of both these spaces. It will also give a feel for the entire house.
I don’t know what my style is. As you can see I have a white kitchen but I do not want a white subway tile backsplash. I need some contrast, but not too much. The perimeter counters are marble (honed Bianco Avion) and are very subtle. They are more of a creamy white with no gray in them and the veining is more beige. The island top is walnut. The walls are SW Useful Gray. I am afraid to commit to a color because I will then be stuck with it. I like bluish greens....maybe. I like herringbone but NOT chevron. Subway is fine but not the typical white subway. I like the look of bumpy lumpy handmade tiles. I do not like thin linear tiles. I am seriously considering doing a different tile behind the range even though many don’t like them....I actually do like them. I plan on going all the way up to the crown molding. I am questioning whether or not to do the wall with the triple window or just leave it the way it is.
The scullery/pantry is a workspace and very busy looking...lots of machines and dry goods on the shelves. Walls are SW Uncertain Gray (but they truly look blue to my eyes) and the cabinets are Amazing gray (which really looks beigeish to me). I really think they name all these paints “gray” just to sell them because everyone seems to want gray paint these days. The counters are wood...oiled maple.
I don’t want things to look too formal and fussy, although I’ve seen some gorgeous tiles that are a bit more elegant. I like to mix the feel up with relaxed and some more elegant touches.
I truly need help. I am dreading going to the tile store and dragging home samples.
Here is the stone we have on our fireplace in the adjoining greatroom that is opposite the kitchen.....

A: Stacked stone could also completely transform your room! Our natural stone veneers come in all sorts of varieties. Check out our examples on our site for inspiration! https://www.norstoneusa.com/

**Q: Fireplace stone name and supplier** *(in Photo Questions)*

I apologise for asking this, as I know there were others that asked it.

I cannot locate the supplier if this stone. Your response stated it was Three Rivers Ledge Stone.

Could you provide contact info? I would like this for my fireplace,

Thbak you kindly,

Derek Delgado

A: This project ROCKS! We love it. Speaking of rocks, our natural stone veneers are very similar to the ones pictured. Take a look on our site to see many of our different projects: https://www.norstoneusa.com/
