Where can I purchase the curtains?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: No this is a cornice! **Q: Are the people in stands wallpaper and if so where can I get it?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: No...this is hand-painted on the walls by an artist! **Q: tv and surround sound** *(in Design Dilemma)* Thoughts please...we are going to be redoing the corner fireplace in the spring and cutting, tiling and painting the adjacent wall with the tv I am wondering everyones thoughts on surround systems. Currently we have a too small tv stand for the tv and these awful looking tall surround sound speakers. Would it be better to have custom cabinetry done that would incorporate/hide these monsters or have a new surround system built into the walls and a new tv stand? Pro/cons for both? A: So I would suggest that you build in the surround sound speakers and paint the covers the wall color. I would also invest in a TV cabinet that has covered storage that could also mount to the wall. The thin brick product would be neat to use on both walls and I would get a cool oversize clock to mount above the fireplace that is black and open so you could see the brick through it **Q: Mirrors in Kitchen dining area!** *(in Design Dilemma)* In the kitchen dining nook I have three (3) arches with mirrors inserted in them. It makes no sense to me as to why previous owners did this. I placed a large medallion in the center arch to break up the massive mirrors. I plan to remove all three mirrors, but have no idea what to replace them without! PLEASE give me any ideas! Desperate for help. A: I would leave the mirrors in place. It actually opens up the room and makes it look bigger. What I would do is to make them look like Windows and put window treatments over the arched opening so they actually look like Windows. **Q: How many Chandeliers?** *(in Design Dilemma)* I am redoing my entire home. I have finished the family room / kitchen area. My home is very open concept ... How many hanging chandeliers can or should you have? I have one in my dining room, family room, foyer and over my kitchen table. I really need another in my living room as the room floats without wall space and it's also vaulted. Where should I stop? A: You may want to consider (depending on your style) a fan/ light combination. It can break up all the hanging chandeliers idea and still help you creat more light and interest in the room. **Q: Convince me that cork flooring worth extra $1.19 sq. ft.** *(in Design Dilemma)* Looking at Coretec vinyl plank flooring or Shaw vinyl flooring. Know that cork would be quieter but still working through paying more. Is it worth it?
