Our bathroom had not been touched since it was built in 1995 - including the hideous carpeting - and needed a LOT of work. While we did not want to reconfigure the shape of the bathroom, the entire room needed to be gutted and essentially rebuilt. Victor and Alan came in and took the ugliest room in our house to the most beautiful room in the house. > The look we were going for was contemporary, clean and (hopefully) timeless. I'd say Victor accomplished this in spades. Every step of the way, he was informative, helpful, responsive and thorough. Victor and Alan are perfectionists and are not satisfied unless the job is done to an exacting standard. No detail, big or small was overlooked. We were working with a smaller space and big ideas. Since this was our first time remodeling a bathroom (or any room for that matter), we had no idea what we were doing. They were patient, flexible, and very helpful. During the planning process, they were very active in our choice making to allow us to get the look we wanted that would also keep the space practical and functional. They made great recommendations as well. One of our favorite features they recommended was to create a built-in medicine cabinet behind the vanity mirrors. They also suggested moving the door to swing out which provided more space in the bathroom. When working with other contractors, Victor was very thorough and had our back. We decided on a unique color for our plumbing fixtures and he made sure that it would match the fixtures of our glass installation by insisting the company bring us a sample book to look at. They completed the job on schedule and within budget. They were even super friendly to our two dogs, Yogi and Baloo! We are very happy with the quality of work. A: Tile is 4x10 inch Maiolica White Wall Tile 100465160 at Floor and decor. It was about $1.20 a tile ceramic. Thanks for the compliment **Q: wall colors** *(in Photo Questions)* Can you tell me all of the wall colors used in this room? As well as the color of the vanity and the vanity countertops please? A: Hi, I can't be too precise about the colors but to the best of my recollection, The purchase the cabinets through Wayfaire. They are a medium grey, with carra marble tops. The wall is white ship-lap and other parts are "on the rocks" Sherwin Williams. It may have been diluted by 30% (lighter). **Q: how many feet span the tub and shower on that wall?** *(in Photo Questions)* Wondering if I can fit a tub and shower- how much space is needed to do tub abd shower sling a wall like this? A: About 50 square feet for both. **Q: Can you share the original dimensions of the space?** *(in Photo Questions)* We have appx. 8 by 13 feet of space to put in a bathroom and this layout looks perfect for what we are looking to accomplish. A: I believe it was 13 feet along the wall with the vanities and 10 feet deep. The water closet/toilet was within that space. The vanities were 48 inches wide each. The doorway was originally 36 originally wide and had two 18 inch doors the swung into the bathroom and up against the original vanities. I removed those and installed a barn door (sliding door) on the bedroom side to make it seem larger. The jetted tub was removed and a smaller 60" tub put in it's place, allowing for a 25% larger shower. I hope that helps. --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
