Having undertaken a large renovation in the past, we knew we needed someone who was on top of the entire process and was going to be creative, organized, methodical and always thinking 3 steps ahead. We found this in Merit's designer Emily Holley who along with the contractor Travis Johnson let nothing slip through the cracks. From the initial consultation, design input and working with our ideas until the last subcontractor finished his job, the entire process went very smoothly and efficiently. Emily kept everyone on schedule, kept us up to date about the comings and goings and Travis showed up at every turn checking to be sure all was being done the way it should. Emily had great design suggestions, helped with selections and was always calm, pleasant and a delight to work with. If something even began to go sideways she and Travis dealt with it immediately. > Choosing to undertake such a project during a pandemic presented many challenges, not the least of which was supply chain disruption and lack of information about when ordered components would show up. Instead of being offered any alternative options, we were smugly told that "you can get your money back".
