That is what this guy deserves. Eric Marsh was hired in February 2016 to complete a full home renovation project. He received his required deposit and started the demolition of the interior rooms in the home. After waiting for months, and with the house in shambles, the project was moving at snail's pace with Mr Marsh disappearing for days/weeks on end with no contact and coming up with every excuse imaginable for not continuing the project. He misappropriated the deposit which he received and admitted that he had no funds to continue the project, even though he had done VERY little with the money he received.After being given many opportunities to provide restitution, Mr Marsh has disappeared, not responding to calls or texts and has abandoned the project. HE can't be trusted. **★ — Temitope Keyes, Aug. 2016** > We engaged Marsh Construction LLC in Nov 2015 for a renovation project on a condo we own . After waiting 5 months for permits (in part delayed due to their error in not knowing that 2 separate permits for electrical and GC required) we signed off on the project start April 15th 2016. Via e-mail it was confirmed the project would be 3 weeks. We are now at August 8th and have come to learn that despite paying requisite deposits and payments per the project budget (last payment made 5/19/16), him claiming as of 7/17/16 he could still get it done (we even found someone to sub the work) as of today it is only 80% complete. Funds that were provided for materials were misused and as such we have had to spend funds again to acquire carpet, granite and other items. Marsh Construction has been non-responsive to phone email and texts. And when randomly does communicate has provided almost every excuse possible to deny the negligence, incompetence and lack of communication. Eric was continually deceptive making claims about the status and took advantage that this project was done during a time of grieving as the condo belonged to my mother in law who passed in November. We have tried and tried to at least get our keys back and an accounting of our materials to no avail. We have now lost numerous possible tenants and have to expend an additional $5000 to complete (engaging another contractor) as well having had to cover the mortgage out of pocket. Suffice it to say this is the most appalling behavior I have ever seen from a contractor and strongly suggest avoiding this business. **★★★★ — Urban Aestherics, April 2015** > Marsh Construction provides high quality service and an excellent finished product. Upon my retirement in 2011 my wife and I moved back to Philadelphia into a house purchased by my wife and her mother in the early 1980's. Needless to say that since the house had been rented out for many years it was in bad shape. We were referred to Marsh Construction by a friend of my wife's. Our property damage was substantial: > 1\. Shower leaks on the first and second floors > 2\. Water leaking from a main pipe inside a wall > 3.. Water settled in the kitchen ceiling; which eventually collapsed. > Mr. Marsh offered us a contract that was fair, the craftsmanship was exceptional, The work started and finished on time, and we have been extremely happy with his honest assessment of our damages and the pride he put into his company's reputation. **★★★★★ — shuberts, Sept. 2013** > Marsh Construction under the superb leadership of Eric Marsh, performed an awesome job renovating my home in Mt Airy. They stripped wallpaper, painted, installed a garage door, removed asbestos, installed new doors and that is only a sampling of the work they completed. They were honest, respectful and exhibited excellent time management skills.
