He took photos, wrote down something and left. Two days later I received an e-mail that stated the work involved. His stated estimate did not include some of the trim that was discussed. Nor did the estimate describe, in proper detail, what was expected. There is no contact for discussion or contract negotiation before the work is performed, just a web form to sign based on his on site interpretation. We are sorry that we did not meet the customers estimate expectations. We are not even sure exactly what some of this review is referring to. After a professional estimate was completed we were under the impression from the customer that the customer wanted to proceed with the work. All of our proposals/contracts are signed electronically through the industry standard Docusign program - that must be what is referred to as web form to sign. He notified us that a gutter company would not be able to do work on his home until Dec. so painting would happen in 2018. The customer never informed us that the trim scope of work wasn't what he asked for. We are sorry if we missed something. We are not sure we understand the "contract negotiation" remark. Typically, once we create a proposal and set a price for the customer we don't have a lot of negotiation of the price. Ultimately, there is no need to stay away from CertaPro Painters.
