> I'm another Paul/Concrete Craftsman fan!!! What a fantastic experience. My wife and I have been looking for a unique water fountain/feature for our backyard for about 2 years. Couldn't really find anything out there that we liked. Took us a bit of time, but we finally discovered Paul/Concrete Craftsman. We called and talked about what we were looking for. Paul indicated he had not yet done anything like this but wanted to give it a shot. We worked on the idea for several weeks and finalized on a design. We were not in a rush as our backyard was still being worked on, so Paul eased into the project. We we called to let him know we were ready and he started the work and it took about 3 weeks but it arrived and we have been absolutely thrilled with the outcome. For not having done a water feature, this turned out awesome!! Paul indicated he learned a few things too, but nothing that resulted in an inferior product. So if you end up hiring Paul for a water feature, it'll be just that much more perfect than ours!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

> Paul is absolutely great to do business with.
>
> I began a remodel project with another business in Santa Cruz who claimed to be an unreal concrete sink guy who turned out to be A NIGHTMARE! After threats of lawsuits, sexist and degrading comments, being hung up on by the guys girlfriend, missed deadlines, lies, countless arguments and a joke of a sink/shelf combo (his sink couldn't get wet and his shelf that he later installed prevented the sink that couldn't get wet from being plumbed. duh-plumbing 101) Paul came in to save my sanity like a superhero.
>
> I had specific needs and he was completely professional, nice and listened to my concerns about continuing with a concrete sink and guaranteed his work. There was potential for a small hiccup along the way but Paul handled it so well which is important to note since true colors of a business come out in times like that.
>
> His ideas are fabulous. He's extremely agile. There is NO BS. He keeps commitments and deadlines. He gives statuses of his work along the way. He responded to all my questions right away. He made me feel like I was his highest priority. His sink is absolutely gorgeous. In fact as he was installing it I couldn't help but stand there and stare at the beauty of it. (Polar Opposite to the other shoddy company I began the project with)
>
> I had another company do a sink prior to hiring Concerete Craftsman and the quality was TERRIBLE! Paul made himself available for consulting and gave me great tips on how to make the best of a product he didn't even create.
>
> You will not regret going with Paul at Concrete Craftsman.

> Paul was great to work with. We met him in his work space and he helped us chose and design a bathroom wash basin that was unique and fit the style and feel of our house perfectly. He is extremely knowledgable about working with concrete and has many years of experience, making him able to adjust to our budget without compromising quality. He was timely in all aspects from design, to molding, coloring, and installation. We were delighted with his work and would recommend him without hesitation!

> Paul and his team at Concrete Craftsman created two custom concrete sinks for me. He was very easy to work with and replied promptly to all communications and sample requests. The sinks turned out beautifully! I highly recommend them!

> Our company has worked with Paul at Concrete Craftsman. His work is great! He is always available, his prices are affordable, and no job is too small!

**★★★★★ — Cary Hair, Dec. 2014**

> Paul and crew were fantastic to work with and delivered an amazing finished product. They have made half a dozen sinks for us, each slightly different and all are beautiful. They also made large concrete panels and pans for custom showers. They were nothing but professional and very easy to work with on the design aspect.

**★★★★★ — Keenan Construction Company, Dec. 2014**

> Paul does excellent work, on time with reasonable prices.
> His concrete finishes are beautiful and stand the test of time.

**★★★★★ — darrennix, Dec. 2014**

> I am so thrilled with our concrete countertops! I had been considering a few different materials in our new kitchen of our mother in law unit. Ultimately I wanted something timeless, forgiving and relatively inexpensive. I was also considering the environmental impacts of our selection and trying to find a balance between all the options.
> I searched online for our local concrete counter designers and wound up in contact with the Concrete Craftsman. I called him out to look at the space, discuss a few design ideas and provide a quote. This was such a great meeting. Paul is an excellent listener and clear communicator all the way through the process. I then searched his portfolio on Houzz and was blown away by the beauty of his work. I knew that he was the right guy for the job.
> He was able to build our counter top as a single 12' piece and manipulate it into the 12' wide space without any headaches (this was a feat in itself). We went with a stainless undermount sink and the cutout was finished beautifully. Paul can also do integrated sinks, and his work is AMAZING as his portfolio shows, I was impressed to see how thick the actual counter is and am still admiring the polished finish and beautiful slate color he suggested. It looks similar to soapstone. After seeing the final product, I realize that this isn't a product that even a handy DIY'er could ever replicate. This was the product of a true artisan and a master craftsman.
> I would whole heartedly recommend the Concrete Craftsman to anyone. If you're considering stone or other solid surface product, you should explore concrete as well. It works in modern and traditional designs and you'll truly end up with a one-of-a-kind piece.

> We were blown away by the quality of this contractor's work. He was efficient and punctual, and the job was finished on schedule. The finished work of our bathroom remodel was beautiful, and we are so happy with our finished product. We will definitely hire the Concrete Craftsman again in the near future, this time for our kitchen remodel!

**★★★★★ — Cyndi Case, Dec. 2013**

> Paul is a creative, talented artist who designed a beautiful, modern, custom 6' integral sink for our recent bathroom remodel. He has a great aesthetic, an eye for detail, and takes a lot of pride in his work. It definitely shows. We couldn't be more pleased with the end result of our sink, and it was such a pleasure to work with Paul. Not only is he a great craftsman, he's an incredibly nice and communicative person. I look forward to further design projects in which I can work with him again!

**Comment from Concrete Craftsman:**

> Thanks Cyndi, I had a blast working with you and creating a one of a kind sink for your home!

**★★★★★ — Cliff Hodges, Nov. 2013**

> Paul is a true craftsman - he did my kitchen and helped bring together the whole project (check out his photos of the grey wrap-around counter on top of the redwood cabinetry). He worked with me every step of the way and was both open-to, and excited-about doing custom pieces like a sink with a drainage/drying rack, in-layed cutting board, fruit bowl, and other impressive 3D highlights. I give him my 110% recommendation.

**★★★★★ — Santa Cruz County Builders, Inc., Oct. 2013**

> I am a General Contractor and have hired Paul and his company to work with the client and design counter tops. Paul knows his trade well and really works well with people. That counts for a lot with regards to the team of people I bring into any job. His work is very good and I don't hesitate to offer him as a great option to any of my clients.

## Community Q&A

**Q: is the vanity commercially made?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where might one purchase this style vanity?

A: Hey Jacqueline,
This piece was a custom order from a local woodworker. If you would like I can get you his contact information.

Paul Neall

**Q: Faucet and mirror?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What mirror and faucet did you use to work seamlessly like this?

A: Sorry, I don't have the name of the manufacturer of the faucet. The mirror was just a standard mirror from a glass supplier.

**Q: Hi! Where can I purhcase that reclaimed wood? Love the light color!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: These we reclaimed from a local fence builder.
Maybe check out a company like this to source some reclaimed wood. http://www.elmwoodreclaimedtimber.com/products/barn-wood-siding/antique-reclaimed-grey-barn-wood-siding

Best of luck,
Paul
