The rep for Ball Homes got upset and said that I don’t look happy with the result so I should not buy this house! She was right, I should have walked away and bought a better built house from another company! Ball Homes is not a reliable, not a trustworthy source for people to build their long term houses. Daily, I am afraid of who knows what problem I’ll discover in the house that I’ll have to get another handyman to fix it. **★★★★★ — HU-177536839, Dec. 2021** > Rob Bolton is excellent. Grab him if you are building with Ball Homes. He guided us through the purchasing process to help us avoid common issues and unrealistic expectations. We ended up with exactly the house we envisioned in the beginning of the building process. Ball homes delivers exactly what they agreed to in the beginning of the agreement. I can not elaborate on some of the reviews I have read but I have to believe some are not well versed in "non" custom construction or contract stipulation. When you take possession, it is your house with two scheduled revisits for items needing addressed after taking possession. The rest is your to maintain and repair. I did not expect "custom" build quality or the accompanying prices that "custom" requires. You can't have "custom" quality and value type prices; its not sustainable. They have been building homes since 1959 which is a statement in itself in sustainability. That said, Rob has taken care of issues as they occurred and Ball homes executed their contract just as written. I wish I could do more to help others to purchase a Ball Home with Rob Bolton as their guide. **★ — stuheram, Nov. 2020** > We purchased a spec home from Ball 3 years ago. We have a faulty plug in the basement that trips every time it rains. This was supposedly fixed during our 1 year inspection. We have a water line in the basement that didn't even meet code that we had to pay to fix when we finished the basement. We have several tiles where the grout and tiles move that was also supposedly fixed at the 1 year review only to pop back up and crack within 3 months of being repaired.
