> I was really excited after being referred to this business by previous customers and talking with Jose. He personally reassured that my home project would be taken care of, as long as a contract was signed quickly and deposit was paid. But buyer beware, while the countertops work was quick and efficient, the manager (Jose) was quite rude, disorganized, and unscrupulous. He continuously started revising project estimates after the contract had been signed with no insight or discussion with his customers on what was changing or why. We had to terminate our contract ASAP to avoid being taking advantage of further, especially after the managing team went completely MIA. Even after multiple attempts to get in touch with Jose or his team, the contractor partially demo-ed my home and abandoned the project, leaving me with no functioning bathrooms or kitchen. Our entire experience with them was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and disorganized and it was clear that AGD has some unethical business practices in place. After extreme bullying and slanderous emails, I would highly recommend working with a different fabricator that is much more upfront and honest with their customers. I really hate giving bad reviews, especially knowing that there are good people working at this business. However, for other female homeowners, this is not a business I can personally endorse or support.

> We were in the stage of purchase where we delivered a sink to site (11th June) so they could make the correct cuts for a quartz countertop install. The sink was inspected on site by Amy while I was there (my wife and I had inspected it prior to delivering it as well), a 70% payment made for the countertop, and a date for install was set 13 days later. On the day of installation my wife received a call saying the sink had broken and asked what we would like to do. She stated she would call them back after speaking with me. Before we had the chance to call back we received a text message saying they were working on a solution for the sink and to stand by. They then sent an image and link to a sink of similar design and color. We clarified that it was the same color and undermount and then said that we it was fine and we appreciated them finding a solution. The countertop was installed after some unclear back and forth. We were told either around or after the expected arrival time that we would not be able to have it installed that day because they were too far behind schedule. Later that evening (after 6 if I'm not mistaken) the crew showed up to install. They did a fine job.
>
> We received an invoice for the remaining 30% of the countertops and surprisingly, also the cost of the replacement sink. Which would mean that we paid for our own sink that they broke AND the replacement sink that they delivered. A text said that we should work on getting a refund for our original sink...the issue being that the sink does not have proper grounds for a refund because it was not broken upon arrival. We paid the remaining amount for the countertops which is what we had originally agreed to.
>
> We are now getting phone calls, texts, and emails from Michelle saying it was not inspected that day (11th June) despite me checking the sink and watching Amy inspect it on site. Austin Granite Direct had the sink in their possession for 13 more days prior to being told it became broken. It remained in their possession because the fabricators needed to have the sink for the cuts.
>
> Despite paying the best part of $6k to Austin Granite Direct (everything we originally agreed to) they want more money from me to pay for a sink they broke. Michelle also wants to add late fees for the sink.
>
> We were pleasant and patient when we were told that the sink had become broken, and again when we were told that installation couldn't happen that day, and again when the installation crew unexpectedly arrived into our evening. I can't help but feel that this is a bit of a scam to get more money from us since we didn't originally purchase a sink from them.

> Austin Granite Direct provided new granite for our four bathrooms, game room and laundry room for our newly purchased home in Belterra. All the staff were professional and accommodated our requests. Pricing was reasonable and transparent. We are thrilled with the result and would highly recommend Austin Granite Direct.

**Comment from Austin Granite Direct:**

> Austin Granite Direct did a fantastic job of installing quartz countertops in two bathrooms I was designing. Their prices were fair, there were lots of choices, the material was ready on time, and the installation was perfect! They were quick and professional and cleaned up after installation. I couldn't have asked for more! I will always recommend them to my clients.

> I've used Jose from Austin Granite Direct for my personal & client's homes over 7 years now. Countless projects and the results are always the same...high quality material & installation & excellent pricing. Jose has the utmost integrity and is skilled in this line of work. Every client I have referred him to has been very happy with his work and I've loved all the jobs he has done for me. I highly recommend them. The pics I have attached are his work at my personal homes. He did the counter install & tile backsplash. He has excellent tile setters as well.

**★★★★★ — RRS Design + Build, LLC, June 2015**

> Austin Granite Direct is a top notch fabricator of counter tops in the Austin area. We have used them on several jobs, and they have always been punctual, professional, and in budget for all our projects. Excellent customer service and product knowledge.

**★ — Doors & Gables, June 2015**

> Austin Granite Direct has previously provided a good service for a fair price for several of my projects; however, the last project took over 6 weeks to get on their schedule and 2 weeks to obtain pricing (even after multiple attempts), and the worst part was after the work was completed and how Rebecca unlawfully shared my information to another person. This action alone was cause enough to decide to end the relationship with AGD, as they had proved that they could not be trusted with important information.
>
> Everyone wants a good price and good work, but before you hire any business, be sure that they are trustworthy, respectable, and are able to keep your information safe. I will no longer be doing any work with AGD as there are plenty of other granite suppliers here in Austin that I know are more professional and care about their customers.

> Jose and I have worked to gather several times. He has helped me get my clients' home ready to sell and has also remodeled my personal properties.
>
> He is kind, always responsive, does great work and his prices are very competitive.
>
> I have really enjoyed working with him. Having him on my team makes my job easier and my clients' properties sell faster.

**★★★★★ — Jo Richmond, April 2014**

> One hundred percent satisfied with salesman, product, installation, pricing, and pretty much the entire experience. Kenny, our sales rep, was responsive to all our needs and although not the cheapest quote I got, he was able to offer great service and even a stainless steel sink at no cost. I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting granite or any other type of stone countertops in their kitchen or bathroom. Great job!

**★★★★★ — sshayes, July 2013**

> This is the company that we bought our granite counters and backsplash from. They were very professional and helpful when we were searching for the counter tops we wanted. When our cabinets were ready, they came in, placed the counters in place, were extremely professional, and had the installation and fitting completed within the day. They were finished, cleaned their work area, and made sure we were satisfied before they left. A week later, they called back to see if we were satisfied . I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for counter tops and back splash.
