As the Interior Designer for the project, I was able to collaborate with Trifon to ensure both of our visions came to life, inside and out. Trifon was wonderful to work with! He has great ideas, attention to detail and follow up. He listened to the client's wishes and desires and was able to incorporate them in his design seamlessly. > We used Trifon Metodiev, and his firm Vulkan Designs, on the recent complete remodel of our home.  It was a challenging project because we were demolishing the entire interior down to the exterior walls and completely recreating the interior.   The challenge was heightened by the fact that the previous remodel of the home, done by previous owners in the early 90’s, had been done haphazardly and presented significant correction challenges – especially in the plumbing infrastructure.   Thus, our project required not only an outstanding design mind, but also someone that could be a creative problem solver – many times on the fly, as some of the issues were invisible until the interior demolition was complete.
> Trifon and his firm were absolutely amazing to work with on our project.  Not only did he create an incredibly beautiful and functional layout and design for the space, but he successfully overcame all the engineering challenges we encountered along the way without us ever having to compromise our vision for the space.  No exaggeration – he was a miracle worker, at times.
> The final thing I would say is that Trifon’s value-add to us went WAY beyond his outstanding design talent and ability to efficiently solve engineering challenges – he was also a great coach, counsel, and shoulder to lean/cry on in some of the darker moments that you undoubtedly will come upon in most any project.  He became more than a designer and architect to us, he became a trusted friend.  We encountered challenges with our General Contractor, our HOA, the City, etc. – and Trifon was always there for us to help lead us through to a good outcome.  In this field, they don’t come any more talented or better than Trifon Metodiev and Vulkan Designs.
