The following deficiencies occurred: > > \- Crooked wall switches > \- Incorrect tile trim: installed chrome instead of matte black so spray painted it black as a solution. > \- Substandard ceiling fan installation resulting in an abnormally loud fan > \- Incorrect tile trim: installed brushed chrome instead of brushed nickel > \- Forgot to build and mount the medicine cabinet > > While I appreciate the team addressing these issues, it's disappointing to pay a premium for a company that couldn't prevent or recognize these mistakes. > > Unfortunately, as the project finalized, more mistakes were discovered but never resolved because the contractor walked off the job: > > \- Substandard shower installation of 30” bathtub, resulting in a shower width of 26.8” (unresolved) > \- Substandard squared off corner wall resulting in a crooked walls (unresolved) > > Possibility with more experience, coastal glades renovation may improve their professionalism to ensure the entire job is correctly completed. > > I wish them all the best. > > George **★★★★ — Aubrey Jones, Jan. 2023** > E2 did a great job painting my condo on short notice allowing me to put my condo on the market in August 2022. The team of painters did a great job of painting and cleaning. E2 also designed and installed a stainless-steel strip to cover up the space between the new oven and microwave. Note the stainless-steel piece was produced by a different vendor. I would definitely use E2 again due to their work quality but provided four stars instead of five since both jobs took a little longer than promised. **★★★★★ — HU-135678921, Dec. 2021** > Working with E2 was an amazing experience! > > They are everything you could hope for in a renovation company. Everything I had dreamed of for our renovation project was achieved, our space looks AMAZING. The quality of work done by E2 was truly unbeatable; Adam (owner of the company) even came in to triple-check the completed work at the end of the project. > > Completing this renovation was a stressful task, but I’m thankful that E2 was there to help! They provided guidance with our interior design choices without overstepping our wishes, in order to ensure the room looked cohesive and tied together. No request was too small or too large, Adam was super receptive to it all! > > As a young woman single-handedly overseeing this renovation, I found other vendors either did not take me seriously or were dismissive in their approach (mind you, I have some familiarity with renovations due to experience with a family business). Never once did Adam and his team treat me this way. Instead, they were always considerate of my opinion and experience. Everyone at the company was professional, communicative, and all-around great people to work with. I had no problem reaching out if I had questions, concerns or any feedback. > > I am bringing back E2 for a number of other projects and can’t recommend them enough! **★★★★★ — Haibo Feng, Nov. 2020** > They did great work on my bathroom. > Adam knows what he is doing very well. > I would definitely use him again if things happened in my house. **★★★★★ — Brownjohn Investments, Nov. 2020** > We have worked with Adam and his crew for years on multiple renovation projects. Him and his team are incredibly reliable and do awesome work! They are always on time, on budget, and very professional. Adam is our go to guy for all painting and drywall needs and has expanded his business over the years to include multiple other aspects of home renovation. He is in constant communication with us throughout the course of the project and is a great source to bounce ideas off of. Highly recommended!! **★★★★★ — Karen Jones, July 2020** > We had water damage to our entrance hallway ceiling which required drywall repairs, matching of a textured surface, and repainting throughout to ensure a "no patch look" . > Adam was positive and professional right from our first contact with him. He provided a quote quickly, and was able to schedule and complete the work in a timely manner. Tony was the professional on-site for the completion of the project. He took great care to protect our furnishings, walls, and flooring as he did his work. Clearly talented at his craft! > We opted to be away while oil-based primer was applied to the ceiling. We were confident to entrust our house keys to Adam and Tony while we were away for those few days. We came back to an excellent result. We would highly recommend Adam and his team. **Comment from Coastal Glades Renovations ltd:** > Thank you so much, Karen! We're so happy that we were able to help out with the repair and that the final product is just what you needed! We appreciate the kind words :) **★★★★ — Derrick, May 2020** > The original work done assembling and fitting our cabinets didn't quite work out\> > However, Adam the owner attended personally to check out the issues and then came back with his staff and reset the cabinets and re-finished the job fast and with care and attention, and the result was a satisfactory job. Thanks Adam! **Comment from Coastal Glades Renovations ltd:** > Hi Derrick! Thanks for the kind review! I'm glad we were able to get the cabinets fitted properly and done right in the end! Thank you for your patience while we got it all sorted! Hope you're enjoying your space! **★★★★★ — Jessica Aucoin, May 2020** > After speaking with some family friends we were directed towards Adam and his team at E2 painting. Adam immediately saw our vision and worked with us to accomplish it. He was honest about the true cost and timeline and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. Adam took the initiative to suggest ideas that would incorporate the Reno into the rest of our house. We are beyond happy with the final out come and would recommend E2 painting to anyone **Comment from Coastal Glades Renovations ltd:** > Thank you Jessica! Yours is still one of our favourite final products! Thank you for being so receptive to ideas and being so easy to work with! **★★★★★ — Black Belt Contracting Inc., May 2020** > I am the owner/operator of Black Belt Contracting Inc. We are a renovation/construction firm serving the lower mainland for the past ten years. My team has had the absolute pleasure of working with E2 painting and finishing for a number of years and on multiple projects. We hire Adam and his team to do all of our drywall/painting and finishing related work for the simple fact that they just do it better. In my many years as a contractor I have learned the fine art at sticking with what you are good at and hiring other professionals to do what they can do better. Adam and his team always arrive on time and with a professional attitude, ready to tackle difficult work. Their speed is remarkable and their product is ALWAYS top notch in quality. It means a great deal to me to have Adam and his team do my painting and finishing as I don't have to manage any of their work to be assured it will turn out to my high standards and on time with project deadlines. Adam takes care of all this management and truly goes above and beyond to meet our needs every time. E2 is just one of those companies I can set and forget and that is worth everything in what I do. I wouldn't hesitate to strongly recommend E2 for anyone looking for fine painting and finishing related work. I can tell Adam loves what he does and that is quintessential to his success. > Great leader > Great team > Great results > Every time. **Comment from Coastal Glades Renovations ltd:** > You are AWESOME. Always love working with you guys. Definitely helps having such an organized and great GC to work with ;) Thank you so much for the continued support and work - looking forward to continuing this relationship! **★★★★★ — A Stroke of Genius, May 2020** > I have used Adam and his crew at E2 Painting on a number of projects. They are always professional and courteous and do a fantastic job. I have used them for both painting and drywall projects and would highly recommend them. **Comment from Coastal Glades Renovations ltd:** > Thank you or the review, Barb! Always a pleasure to work with you - looking forward to any future projects together! **★★★★★ — Kennedy Construction, May 2020** > Adam and his team are fantastic! Efficient, clean and friendly. They work with our tight timelines and complete projects to our high standard. > > Highly recommend! **Comment from Coastal Glades Renovations ltd:** > Thanks guys! Appreciate the kind words!
