**★★★★★ — Meredith Keolian, Dec. 2025**

> Our powder room renovation was small but impactful, and the CASAINC faucet we selected made a big difference. The design is minimal and elegant, and installation was quick. We did have one small part missing, but CASAINC customer support resolved it quickly. Great experience overall.

**★★★★★ — Rob Mitchell, Dec. 2025**

> I ordered a beautiful double vanity from Casainc, and it's perfect for my master bathroom. The finish is gorgeous, and the storage space is fantastic. The only downside was the delivery took longer than expected, but the team kept me updated along the way. Totally worth the wait!

**★★★★★ — Thomas Calderon, Dec. 2025**

> During our kitchen renovation, we replaced all outdated plumbing fixtures and selected a CASAINC pull-down kitchen faucet. The design is sleek, the handle movement is smooth, and the finish still looks brand new after months of daily use. What impressed me most was the balance between price and quality — it feels comparable to much more expensive brands. I would absolutely use CASAINC again for future projects.

**★★★★★ — Amanda, Dec. 2025**

> I ordered a faucet and matching shower set from CASAINC and couldn’t be happier! The quality exceeded my expectations, installation was straightforward, and the finish looks stunning in my kitchen and bathroom. Great value and fast shipping — highly recommend!

## Community Q&A

**Q: First Time Foster Cat Mom** *(in Pets)*

Hi, we are fostering our first cat (8 months old) and welcome any tips about litter boxes (stainless steel vs plastic), odor control, food (shelter recommended fancy feast), introducing cat to resident Chi, etc.

Feedback is appreciated!

A: Here's a litter that my roommate and I have recently been using. It's a little more expensive than your run-of-the-mill, bottom shelf litter but it's been great so far. The litter is formulated from tofu and due to the size and shape of the individual pellets, scooping does not kick dust or other particulates into the air (with other litters, I always have to hold my breath as I'm scooping).

**Q: Help with placement of kitchen island** *(in Kitchens)*

I am going to have this island moved so it is parallel to the counter with the sink . The walkway between the island and the back countertop will be 44 inches but in order to get enough space between the fridge and the side of the counter we will need to get a cabinet depth fridge and have the surrounding cabinets cut back and even then that walkway space will only be 33’ wide. My question is do you think I should line the island up with the cBinets next to the sliding door on the left which was my original intent or should I pull the island 3” or so to the left to grab every inch on the fr9dge side? I asked Chat GBT to rotate the island for me so I could visualize it but gave up after a few trys - it just wasn’t understanding what I was asking it to do. Also it you have suggestions for a mid priced counter depth fridge I would appreciate it - they seem to vary quite a bit in depth. Thanks so much for you help.

A: I think it all comes down to personal preference and how OCD you are, but we've seen and worked on several kitchen layouts where the island was offset from the parallel wall. Just be sure to consider all the angles because while it may look good from one direction, it may be less aesthetically appealing when viewed from another side. Best of luck!

**Q: What would you do? Living room furniture redo** *(in Home Decorating)*

PLEASE SEE UPDATED PICTURES OF OUR LIVING ROOM REFRESH HERE AND IN THE COMMENTS BELOW :)

Hello all,
First, please note the pictures are blurred so the art and bookshelves do not look like that in real life. The TV is a frame TV and hung at eye height like art (which is also blurred).
Also, the furniture had been moved at the time I took the pictures as we were swapping out the rug pad with another. The chairs are usually against the bay windows. We put the furniture back differently for now which should show up below but if not, look here: https://imgur.com/a/lMJ6P4Y
We are looking to replace our furniture, and are having a hard time coming up with a different layout.
It's mostly for two adults, but we did have 12 people at Thanksgiving so need more seating. We currently have a love seat and two chairs and would like to do seating for at least five, so a couch or two, or a couch and chairs. We are wanting to do velvet fabric for our cats.
Most of the time we spend there is to watch TV, but also to relax on the couch. So we're looking for cozy, comfy, minimalist/intentional.
The bay window faces south and the room gets great light. There are coved ceilings and upward facing LEDs on the picture rail which provides most of the non-natural light.
The TV is mounted on the wall that backs up to the porch and can't be moved. The bay window is the other constraint. We like the bookshelves and would prefer to leave them there, but will consider removing them if it's truly the way to go.
We don't yet have a budget in mind, but are gathering ideas as we gather our money.
Along with the plan are pictures of the whole room. Apologies that the current furniture was not in its regular place - the chairs are usually both in the bay window, and the table is turned the other way.
Looking forward to hearing ideas!
Cheers!

A: @underthetableanddreaming Ours was indeed custom made because we were fortunate enough to be friends with an overly enthusiastic woodworker who moonlights as an upholsterer. However, ours was a niche situation and not everybody is in a position to afford a non-discounted, custom-made piece. If you decide to go the ready-made route, it may be difficult to find a piece that perfectly matches the curvature AND desired aesthetics. You'll find that the selection is far larger with straight benches, which are also a viable option as the gap between the bench and window can be easily concealed with strategic positioning of pillows, cushions, or other decorative furnishings.
If you're feeling especially adventurous or have a handy partner/family member, you can find extensive online materials with complete instructions if you'd prefer the DIY route.
I'm interested to see what you decide to do! Just be careful not to miss the forest for the trees because as I'm sure you've realized, a small part of your remodeling can easily snowball into a large project. Just some friendly advice from someone guilty of tunnel vision

**Q: Seeking design suggestions 1927 bathroom** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hello! I need to make some updates to my bathroom. While the tile is not in the best shape, I want to keep it because I love it. I am seeking advice below. One issue I have run into is that at least Floor and Decor won't handle small counter top jobs and I don't know where t go next. I need to update the counter tops and handles due to condition. I am worried to add to much color volume if you will. I am looking for advice on what would look best! Thanks for any advice or help
Countertops: I want to replace with quartz. I think I want a faint marble with mostly white background but not sure. I worry about it adding to the chaos. Any suggestions?
Sink: I either want a full drop in sink or a sink with new counter - any suggestions?
Cabinet pulls: I think these are original but the white paint has been stripping off to the chrome they originally were. Should I match them to the rubbed oil bronze of the new light fixtures? Should I find the same style?
Rubbed oil bronze - the lights by the medicine cabinet stopped working when we bought the house a year ago. We upgraded to the schoolhouse sconces and vanity light to match the lighting in much of the rest of the house. Was this a mistake? Should I revert to a chrome? Right now - the bath and sink faucets etc are silver or chrome. Happy to change out. Basically - if we keep the bronze, should all faucets and accessories also be bronze?

A: What are your personal preferences in terms of color choice? Is there a specific palette that appeals to you? Also, are you open to a more comprehensive remodel or are you constrained by prioritizing a few choice modifications?

**Q: Metal Mixing in Bathrooms** *(in Bathrooms)*

Hello nice people of Houzz, I need advice (shock, surprise!) once again. We have a double sink vanity (72"L) that we purchased for a bathroom update and both countertop and vanity are white. The hardware is chrome as are the faucets. The shower walls will be a porcelain tile that looks like white marble with light grey veins. Very subtle.
We want to do two mirrors (one over each sink, with wall sconces in between. I was wondering if a warm brass or gold for the mirrors would give a bit of warmth with all the white and chrome? Would it look strange to have brass/gold mirrors when everything else is chrome? What about the light sconces? Should they be chrome? We want a relaxing spa/beachy feel but still elegant. We may do a subtle, barely there beachy colour on the walls (ie; SW Sea Salt) but haven't decided yet. Thanks for any help!

A: Not at all! Mixing metals can be a stylish way to emphasize contrasting colors. However, if your budget affords you the option, Matte Black and Brushed Gold would be a better aesthetic choice, assuming it blends with the rest of your bathroom!
