It is about 12x15 feet not including the toilet room and the closet. Those are located on the right side wall if facing the vanity. There is so much wasted space. It’s ridiculous. The tub deck is utterly ludicrous. Please help! A: That investment should allow you to move things around to suit your requirements! Good luck, I recommend a designer with good space planning experience. **Q: Missing Something ??? Experts please help!!!** *(in Home Decorating)* Looking for feedback from a decorator point of view. Am i missing something in this area? or I could call it complete. Experts please advise if I should change something? A: Love the colors, but it's a bit dark for the size of the space I would have used a lighter shade on the upper wall to make the space look larger. **Q: bedroom and creating seating space** *(in Design Dilemma)* 18 feet wide 24 feet long---- can i attractively fit low platform bed and mid century modern roche bobois 91 inch sectional and what size rugs A: Very much so. **Q: Need help with granite!!** *(in Design Dilemma)* I really need some suggestions on whether or not I should keep the granite I just installed. I have an open concept house and was wondering if the granite is too grey and white for my furniture which is brown and on warmer side. Also do my floors have too much beige for the granite?? Please help I'm so confused. Not sure if I should replace granite, floor, furniture . So confused A: Counter top looks good with the cabinet new tile look fine. Your still looking at this in pieces if you want a little continuity you show get window treatment, area rugs and sofa fabric samples and look at them all together. You'll love the design better when the whole space blends nicely. **Q: Craigslist-to-Collected Living Room?!** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi all! I need some help with my living room. Basically, everything in this room (besides the rug and lamps) are either from Craigslist or hand-me-downs from my downsizing parents. Right now, I'm planning to re-upholster the wingback chairs (taupe velvet?) but I am not necessarily married to anything else. Window treatments? Art? Burn the place down and start over? ;) Thanks for any advice you can provide. A: Your room needs a little something to give it some pop. I recommend finding a piece of art that reflects your personality to go in the space directly across for the doors or if not art fabric for window treatments. Than get some coordinating throw and pillows for your furniture. A little pop of color will go a long ways to make this room much more cozier. **Q: Backsplash put in two different ways - which is correct?** *(in Before & After)* The backsplash in my rental carriage house above the garage had the backsplash installed two different ways. The one on the right is a small counter and so the contractor cut away part of the door frame so it sticks out further than the cabinet. The one of the left stops at the door frame. I think if it had been tile it would have stopped under the cabinet and before the frame as it disrupts the look of the door frame. This also happens on the other end of the left counter which ends into the door frame of the bedroom. I think the contractor is most upset that now I can tell the difference and needs to be fixed. Making the one match the other two is less expensive for contractor but thinking it looks wrong to me. Am I making too much out of this?
