**★★★★★ — HU-294665236, May 2025**

> My wife and I recently built our home in the mountains of Asheville, NC. And when I say built… I mean we self performed 90% of the work ourselves. Over 5000sf of Mountain Modern architecture.
> Being in the construction industry my entire life… I know craftsmanship and quality and what isn’t !!!
> We chose Schuler Cabinetry for the quality, color and style options. We are incredibly satisfied with our choice and plan on using Schuler again when we start our next one.
>
> I would like to thank the men and women that fabric this product… their dedication to the craft.
>
> There are only two ways to build cabinets… “right or wrong”… YOU DO IT RIGHT

> We ordered $20,000 + of Schuler cabinets in July from our local Lowes store. The shipment arrived in Sept. Out of the 18 cabinets delivered 6 were defective. We immediately went back to our Lowes store and went through all of the problems with the sales rep./ The replacement shipment came 4 weeks later and out of the 6 replacements, 3 were defective.. It is now the end of November and we still do not have a complete order, Schuler has been unresponsive to our problems. Although the quality of the cabinets seems to be good, their service is the worst I have ever experienced. I would not recommend either Lowes or Schuler for any cabinet needs

> We are part of Lowes Pro Team. Purchased Schuler Cabinets for a client's new bar. 2 pantry, 30 in. Sink base and a 15 in base with recycling bins, all in quaker style doors. Cost of 10,000.00. Waited weeks for that special order. So 3 of the 4 cabinets were wrong. 18 inch base had raised panel door and drawer front. The pantries were to have glass in the top 2 doors with grids and a solid bottom door. All 3 door were glass without grids. Lowes refused to give any contact information for Schuler rep. Lowes is the go between now only by email. Schuler sending new doors and spray paint. We, the contractor, are supposed to correct Schulers mistakes at our expense. I will never recommend them to anyone. Not any cabinets from. Lowes either. Customer service does not exist.

> We received our Schuler cabinets, and they were damaged. The local Schuler representative does not stand behind their claim of lack of quality workmanship and will not replace our damaged cabinets.
>
> We will never purchase a Schuler product again and I will discourage anyone from buying their product. A company who will not stand behind their product is not a company that deserves any customer's money or time. I highly discourage anyone from purchasing a Schuler product.

**★ — User, Sept. 2023**

> We bought our cabinets at Lowes Rochester N.H. and what a mistake. Our cabinets are a disaster. Nothing came in correct, missing so many pieces, ends, finish products. We have spent so much money and every day of the install something else does not work or fit. The pieces have many bowed panels, staples that are huge, sections are installer has had to sand or modify to make it work. Please do not buy these cabinets. The quality is very poor.

**★ — Tom Moore, June 2023**

> We purchased the top of the line cabinets at Lowes which was suppose to be Schuler Cabinets. Three weeks weeks after Installation
> the doors and drawer fronts begin cracking. We reported this to Lowes and then to Schuler. We are now 4 weeks after and they are dragging their feet with deciding what they are going to do. Lowes is not helping much either even though they told us at purchase they back their products. I have purchased 3 other sets of cabinets before and never had this issue. I would avoid Schuler Cabinets as they are slow in response and seem not overly concern that my kitchen is falling apart.

**★★★ — Toya Nicholson, Nov. 2022**

> Please don't buy these cabinets. I ordered them April 1, 2022, and received them in August. One cabinet was damaged and several pieces were missing. The rest of the pieces finally came and they had major flaws. I sent those back and they sent replacements with the same flaws. The installers took out my old kitchen in September. I have no sink, stove or oven. I'm done with this.

**★ — Perry Dilley, Oct. 2022**

> They have messed up our cabinet measurements numerous times. The panels for our fridge do not fit even though we sent the exact fridge specs to them. A few panels came with missing paint/ bad paint jobs. Cabinets came banged up and chipped. Absolutely do not buy these cabinets.

> We ordered all new kitchen/island, wet bar, and bathroom vanity cabinets from Schuler’s through Lowes on January 3rd, 2021. The installation didn’t finish till early October 2021. There is still a cabinet that has a defects. Here is what happened to us.
>
> April 12th 2021 - All cabinets were supposedly inventoried at our home by Schuler and verified by the cabinet installer before the April 12th installation. However, when the installer came for installation, they told us that ALL“skins” and THREE cabinets were not delivered. We weren’t informed or aware of the need for “skins” by the Lowes design center. If we would have known “skins” needed to be glued on etc., we would have likely looked into other manufactures. The notion of skins is a bit odd for what we are paying and seems a bit cheaply made. Obviously the Lowes design center thought the same or they surely would have ordered with everything else. But too late now.
>
> There are many, many, defects/flaws found with these cabinets once installed. Specifically cabinet doors and drawers. The fit and finish of the floor samples absolutely misrepresent the product we received and installed in our home.
>
> It was a bit of a struggle trying to get a Schuler rep to come look at our concerns. Initially the Schuler representative, Jennifer, told us to use soap water to clean the cabinets to solve the issues. We didn’t do it because we didn’t want to make the condition worse and preferred her coming to inspect the issues. She didn’t want to come at first maybe she didn’t think that was a big deal.
>
> After multiple requests, finally a month later on May 7th both Lowe’s representative and Schuler’s representative visited our home and took notes on damaged door panels and drawers that we had flagged as poor quality, mis-handled shipement and missing items.
>
> After a long pause, on May 18th, Schuler agreed to replace them and relocate the missing cabnites and skins. What has been adding to our exhaustion to complete this project is NO ONE communicates with us.
>
> We have sent this review to Schuler’s customer service to give them feedback. NO ONE has contacted us ever since.

**★ — HU-878456538, April 2022**

> Horrible cabinet! Quality is the worst I have ever seen. We ordered only one cabinet and the drawers don’t line up — the wood is splintered at all cuts — my husband had to re-drill holes in back of drawers to get them to close.
> $1,200 for one cabinet, we expected quality.
> Don’t order cabinets from Lowes! Go to a legitimate cabinet maker and save yourself the headache. By the way, this is a replacement cabinet as the first one delivered was the wrong cabinet. This cabinet had a chipped corner on the drawer as well.

**★ — tiffanyroseinla, Feb. 2022**

> DO NOT buy Schuler cabinets. Poor quality. Unprofessional. Terrible craftsmanship. We spent over 35K on our new kitchen cabinets in Oct 2021. The majority of cabinets arrived (we are still waiting for 6 disappeared cartons) on Feb 2022 to our ripped out kitchen. Every single cabinet is poor quality/rushed job/visible wood joins/chipped paint. The seams do not match. There are gaps where the paint should be. There is a broken cabinet. There is even a cabinet that DOESN’T match our style. They literally sent us another style. I can go on and on. Schuler has conducted a cheap, mickey mouse operation. It’s beyond a joke.
>
> We are two weeks into our kitchen remodel (slated for four weeks).
>
> We have a toddler and a dog (we are paying for boarding). We are due to lose our contractors because we had them scheduled for four weeks. We have run out of money. No kitchen. I'm having panic attacks.

**★★ — HU-462270305, July 2021**

> I was so excited with the cabinet designs, and finishes, from Schuler, that I ordered a full kitchen remodel in March 2021. I was told my order would be delivered by early June. When I checked on delivery status in May (so my contractor could start demolition in my kitchen) I was informed the new delivery date was now early September. I understand that with the pandemic things have been delayed, so although very disappointed I accepted it. On July 6, 2021, I received a text from Schuler stating that due to an industry wide shortage of Alder my order would be delayed further. Again, disappointed, but beyond their control. They told me to contact Lowes and they would explain my options. I went in and chose another type of wood and finish. Now I am being put at the end of the order list and am being told that my delivery date will be in December. They will not keep my place in line even though they have the maple in stock, and I was not at fault. This is something that they DO have control over and they choose to let the customer down. I have never dealt with a more incompetent company! Lowes has been in contact with Schuler and has even contacted Corporate for help. At this point Schuler is unwilling to work with us. I would love to receive the cabinets but it looks like I will have to cancel and reorder with a cabinet company who will actually work with me.
>
> UPDATE: I heard back from Schuler and was told that I now have my place in line again and will get my delivery as scheduled in Sept. I am hoping for a great outcome!

## Community Q&A

**Q: clean new homes** *(in Photo Questions)*

I'm looking for a table small 2 barstools got in.

A: Sounds great!

**Q: What is the wall color, please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I'm sorry but we don't have that information.

**Q: like the color of the cabinets. What color & door style are they?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello Dot and thanks for the question. Because this was a customer-submitted image, we can't be 100% certain of the style and finish. That said, our best guess is that's our "New Haven" door style in "Harvest Bronze" finish.

**Q: what is the cabinet brand?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I’d like to request the same for my kitchen.

A: Glad you like it! This is a Schuler pull out storage cabinet. The finish is Denali EnduraTexture in Flint. You can see more at our website, http://www.schulercabinetry.com/storage/food-and-pantry

**Q: Lovely - what is the color of the stain used for the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This kitchen features our Eagle Rock stain with an Sable Glaze and Highlight on the perimeter cabinetry with our Peppered Appaloosa finish on the island.

**Q: Cabinet color and floor** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the color/model \#/style of the cabinets and floor in this pic?

A: Hi! This is actually an open, galley-style layout with cabinets along two facing walls.
