A couple years ago Linda convinced me to take out our front lawn and go drought-tolerant and I am eternally grateful.  Our front garden is almost completely maintenance free and gorgeous.  No cactus for me - a lovely assortment of succulents, lavender and other colorful plants. Linda has great ideas and tremendous knowledge but she always defers to my tastes and preferences. Really lovely backyard! Any chance you can give a ballpark on what it costs to build a pergola like that? We are also in the LA area. Thanks, and love your style!

A: Hi, glad you like the look we did. the slide shades only are approx. $4000.00
the frame came out to about $2000.00  this was for a 10 ft x 10ft patio. (which we built also)

A: also, at the top of the fence, install eyehook and wire across the top of the fence, intertwine main branches on the wire.and let all hang from that, for stability
