WCA is an NYC and East Hampton based architecture, interior design & decorating firm known for its distinctly modern work. West Chin founded a design/build firm in 1992, which became the foundation for his architectural practice WCA. He maintains a design philosophy that combines style with functionality, utilizing minimal, clean lines to create fluid, light-filled, spacious environments.

Commercial and residential projects include Lux Photography Studio for photographer Michael Thompson, Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon, New York City restaurants Whym, and Eatery, The Campbell; new condominiums at 148 Chambers Street in TriBeCa, and private residences in Manhattan, Hudson Valley and the Hamptons. Together with his wife, interior designer Roseann Repetti, they have designed and decorated the homes of Christy Turlington and Ed Burns, Francois Nars, Shalom Harlow, Alexis Glick and David Gahan of Depeche Mode.

WCA launched a modern furniture and accessory collection under the name FTF Design Studio in 2006. The collection is an extension of the custom designs that West and Roseann created for their private clients. The products are available at the FTF Design Studio showroom in Manhattan, as well as select retailers nationwide.

West Chin has been featured in such publications as the New York Times, Vogue, Interior Design, Elle Décor, GQ, Financial Times, House & Garden, Gourmet, New York magazine, Dwell, Harpers Bazaar, and a forthcoming book featuring Manhattan apartments (HarperCollins, 2008) edited by James Trulove.

> After a long search for an architect and design firm in NYC that I felt I could work with - I finally came across West.  In short, he and his team did everything possible to ensure that the project itself went smoothly and also that the end results were outstanding.  Having refurbished houses and apartments before I know from experience that having a team who are concerned with all the little details as well as the livability after they are gone is critical.  West Chin delivers....When I recently had to refurbish one of the rooms in the apartment, West's team were back again and with stella results.  There is no question, the next time I need an architect I'll reach for the phone to speak to West
