Budget numbers were considered before work and materials were pursued. The quality of the window wood work and entry panelling is excellent. We are very excited about our wine closet design and function. Also, we added to our harwood flooring, extending it into our main entry and kitchen. The match is seamless. The brickwork completed at the entry to our condo provides the solid character we were looking for. It looks very much like it is part of the original building construction. Just the logistics of bringing materials in and removal of old materials presents a challenge. The shared common areas were kept clean and free of debris from the rennovation activity throughout the project. > > Costs were reasonable and all changes in design affecting costs were discussed and pre-approved by us in advance. We did not live in the condo while the work was underway. We were out of the country. This required weekly if not more often consultations throught out the 3 month project. We were provided pictures of materials considered and updates through pictures of work in progress. > > On our return, all follow-ups required post renovation were immediate and complete. We are very pleased with the outcome of our project. Truely exciting and remarkable when you realize we did the project from 3600 kilometrers away from our condo.
