**★★★★★ — Anna M, Oct. 2017**

> My husband and I hired Robert to remodel our home because we had seen the beautiful job he had done on his own home. It was similar to ours originally in that it was a split level and were convinced that he could build us a beautiful home as well. Robert offered wonderful suggestions and was very receptive to incorporating our ideas in the design. He worked with us on multiple iterations of our house plan until we were highly satisfied. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking a creative, personable, highly competent architect.

**Comment from Robert Gross Architect:**

> Thank you Anna. You and your husband were the easiest clients to work with, and offered a compelling vision which any architect would appreciate. Your taste is sophisticated, your research into kitchen technologies and cabinetry was thoughtful and comprehensive, and I hope you and your family enjoy using your renovated house for many years to come!

**★★★★★ — gross9021190, Aug. 2017**

> We love our house designed by architect Robert Gross! He captured the aesthetic we were looking for with clean lines, elegant proportions and window design that allows for loads of natural light well balanced throughout the house. It was a pleasure working with a professional who is attentive and responsive to our needs as well as constantly providing creative and innovative ideas and solutions. We highly recommended Robert and would gladly commission him for our next project

**Comment from Robert Gross Architect:**

> Thank you so much for the kind words. You were highly knowledgeable clients - yourselves designers - and made it easy for me to collaborate with you on the design of your house.

**★★★★★ — Naomi Gershovitz, Aug. 2017**

> Our house was originally designed traditional, but after the exterior framing was done we decided we want a more contemporary/modern look.
> At this point we found Architect Robert Gross, He was able in a very talented and artistic way to give us a beautiful combination of a modern facad with the traditional structure we had.
> Robert has very original and creative ideas, passionate for modern design and is highly knowledgeable in the different materials and building techniques.
> He is very patient and caring, takes every detail very serious.
> Robert was very responsible and on top of everything to work out the way it should, he came many times to the site to guide and check, and explain to the builders how and what to do.
> We highly recommend Robert Gross who would design your home in both structural and beautiful way in every detail.

**Comment from Robert Gross Architect:**

> Thank you for the kind review. It was serendipitous that you found me, and now I feel that we have become friends though this project. It was a challenge to work with an already existing building envelope, but you were eager to try something different, and I'm so pleased that you like the result! I hope we can work together again in the near future.

**★★★★★ — PEARL GROSS, July 2017**

> My house was designed by Mr. Gross. To say that I have not seen anything like it, is the least that I can say. It is the 21st going to the 22nd century design, with all the state of the art features one can imagine. It is a work of art.
> It is one of a kind, not only in style but all the details that one would only dream about. Mr. Gross thought of EVERYTHING that one can imagine, be it in the kitchen, master bedrooms and all the bathrooms. My house has 5 bedrooms and their 5 baths all have different designs that relate to each bedroom.
> I highly recommend his services, for not only he is extremely professional but he puts a lot of emphasis to work with the clients' ideas.
> I highly recommend him, for his devotion and respect to the clients' needs.

**Comment from Robert Gross Architect:**

> Thank you so much, Pearl. It was a privilege to collaborate with you to create a warm and comfortable home for you and your husband.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Great facade cohesiveness!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you possibly the detail siding materials. Is wood tone fiber cement or organic? The sunlight slots in the roof, what are the rafters sided with?

Thank you!

A: Hi, and thanks for the questions! The siding is real Northern White Cedar, and the shadow bands are accomplished by alternating flat board with window-sill profiles, all locked together with tongue-and-groove slotting. The openings in the roof are simply the spaces between the roof trusses, which we clad in brushed aluminum, which bounces a softer diffused light into the master bathroom below.
