I need suggestions with decor of this foyer. I really like the Chest and Chair but I can't seem to figure out what else to place on top of the chest. Please Suggestions. A: I like the idea of what you are doing but you have a lot of dark wood. Add a pop of yellow to the chest since you have the yellow pillow on the chair. Also you need to move the chest over some towards the chair. I suggest a round or oval mirror because you have lots of straight lines in the stairs, chest, mirror and chair. I also agree with adding a light rug to the area to brighten up. I've attached an image of a more modern look but it shows you the color that can be added to a dark wood! I think for what you are trying to do I suggest some glass tiles or match stick slate tiles for your kitchen. I think it would look fabulous this may be too light. I've attached some photos of glass and match stick slate they come in lighter varieties as well but these look fantastic in a kitchen. **Q: My second bathroom** *(in Design Dilemma)* What do you think? Any ideas will be helpful. This bathroom is small. My washer and dryer are in here also. Not sure what else I can do or if this is good enough?
