**★★★★★ — Tiffany Sullivan, Sept. 2020**

> John and his team came highly recommended to me and I am so glad they were! Image Contracting were consummate professionals and were very easy to work with. I was especially pleased with how clean they worked and how quickly they completed the job.
>
> Our job consisted of replacing a sliding door and fixing some water damage from the previous door to the outside panels and inside hard wood floors. We are very pleased with the result of the door and so impressed how well they were able to match the new hardwood flooring to the older flooring.
>
> I would both recommend Image Contracting to others and will also use them for future jobs!

**★★★★★ — Jo Clifton, Sept. 2020**

> From the very beginning, working with John and team at Image Contracting has been nothing but top notch. John was prompt at responding to my initial request via his website for coming out to look at our front entry project. We wanted to replace existing falling apart brick entry with composite decking. He asked a lot of good questions to make sure he was keeping the right things in mind. His quote was very detailed and we felt it was competitively priced. These guys picked the hottest days of the summer to complete this project and they seriously worked their tails off, and did so without sparing any focus and still completing within original estimate. The end result is absolutely beautiful and far exceeded any expectations. We wanted something low maintenance and modern and John’s design was spot on. It has really transformed the look of our house. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire John back.

**★★★★★ — Paul R., May 2020**

> John is an honest professional who is committed to doing things the right way. I contracted with John to replace 3 double hung windows and numerous pieces of exterior trim. When replacing the windows, John took the extra steps to investigate potential hidden water damage. It would have been easier for John to simply put in the new windows and move along to the next job but he didn’t. Instead, he took the time to do the job the properly and for that I am very thankful. John even followed-up with me a few weeks after the project was completed to make sure I was happy with the work and address any concerns I had. John’s communication from the beginning to the end of the project was excellent. I highly recommend John and Image Contracting.

**★★★★★ — Loren Foxx, Dec. 2019**

> John and his crew were extremely thorough and paid great attention to detail. They worked until all aspects of the project were correct and even went above and beyond when there were issues on the part of subcontractors. They had creative solutions to challenges along the way (as all projects have). I strongly recommend John as he is a man of high integrity and class.

**★★★★★ — acgerbs, Nov. 2019**

> Five stars for sure! We appreciate the work Image Contracting has done for us on both the interior and the exterior!

**★★★★★ — Eveline Provencher, Dec. 2018**

> I have known John Harding for nearly three years. He did repair projects in the Condominium Association while I was on the Board. He completed several different projects and was very professional and neat while performing his work. Our owners were all grateful for the work done on their units.
> He recently did a vent project for our unit and did a great job for which we are very pleased.

**★★★★★ — Linda bixby, Dec. 2018**

> We had a new ceiling installed as previous cedar ceiling damage from a leak. John Harding and team were the ultimate professionals, on time, cleaned up every day before they left, communicated regularly and the final product was superb!!! Meticulous work for sure!! We will definitely have him back for more work we need done! I would not hesitate 1 minute to give John Harding a call!!

> For those who are skimming:
> I see another review where the client said if 10 stars was an option, that's what she would select - and I agree 100%. We highly recommend him for any job- his work is of excellent quality, he is friendly, polite and very considerate. His prices are reasonable and his work is solid.
>
> For those who want more detail:
> The first job we called John for was to add an attic access point for some HVAC work we were getting done. He was friendly, polite, and was able to fit us in on short notice. John came by before the appointment to evaluate the area and get an idea of what we needed/wanted. The day of the appointment we had several other contractors here, but John was able to coordinate around them. He was conscientious and methodical, and his work came out beautifully. Not only was he able to make quick work of the job, but it was solid and looked great also! I also noted how clean he kept his work area, when he was working everything was in its place, and after the job there was no trace of mess. His price was very fair, especially given the quality of the work. We were so impressed with his work, we asked for his help with other projects immediately.
>
> Since the first job, John has removed an old wall unit AC and restored the exterior and interior walls. When he came to evaluate the area before the appointment, I mentioned I needed to get a door frame off in time for our oil tank to be removed- and he offered to help right then and there!! He really got us out of a bind. For the old wall unit removal he was able to do the work while we were away, and kept us informed of the status of the job on the day he was working. When we came home we were very impressed- the wall was seamless and the work was again excellent.
>
> Most recently we had John assist with a leak in our roof, installing a vent hose for our bathroom fan and installing a bedroom light. Again the work was of excellent quality, he was prompt and prices very reasonable. John is extremely knowledgeable, he listens to what we want done, and explains how it can be done the right way to ensure it lasts. He is officially our favorite contractor, he really cares about how a job is done- we love his work, and will continue to call him for projects. We highly recommend him for any home repair or improvement need- he is reliable, considerate and a quality professional.

**★★★★★ — Stephen Priest, Aug. 2018**

> John's work is prompt and excellent. He was recommended by my realtor. He is very detail and goes beyond "just doing the job." He did a cellar wall for us - and we were extremely pleased with his high quality work. And he pricing was very fair. Definately will use John of Image Contracting for future carpentry work.

**★★★★★ — Katie Z, April 2018**

> We had John install crown moulding on our first floor, and when we saw what an amazing job he did we asked him to continue installing it upstairs. We sincerely couldn’t be happier with his work- he’s a perfectionist and his work is the highest quality. He made sure each and every corner was perfect for us. We can’t wait to work with him again on more projects!

**★★★★★ — Julie Worthington, Oct. 2017**

> If 10 stars were available, I'd give him a 10.
> John is the best! He gave me status reports on the project when I was away...always called to let me know his ETA. End result of project was even better than hoped for.

**★★★★★ — Impeccable Nest, Oct. 2017**

> John has worked with us on quite a few projects. His craftsmanship and his attention to detail is impeccable! We have loved working with John and Image Contracting, on our own projects, as well as projects for our clients. We are quite pleased with all of the work we have done with him, from communication to end of day clean-up to the final installation, everything was well run and well constructed. We definitely look forward to working with him again in the future!

As part of the process, the open space above the cabinets was boxed-in with custom fascia, decorative moulding was added at the joint, and crown moulding was installed seemlessly throughout the project. Two pendant lights were also added, for enha…

 - Location: Bedford, NH
 - Photos: 3
 - Description: This dining room had horrible pink flowered wallpaper and basic, builder-grade stained pine trim. I stripped the wallpaper and removed all the existing trim. All new woodwork is extremely pricey red oak and done in a craftsman style. I personally milled all the new trim (except for the window and door casings): Chair rail ledge, window sills, window aprons. I stained and then hand-rubbed (polished) 3 coats of polyurethane on all new trim and panels. The room was finished off with an elegant red…

 - Location: Not specified
 - Photos: 8
 - Description: Originally a strip/sand/refinish job, I determined on the first day that the deck surface was not salvageable. The homeowner had applied a 'deck restoring' product that could not be removed. The main deck surface was removed and replaced. The stairs and railing were sanded to bare wood and the bottom stair skirt was removed and replaced. The entire deck was stained/sealed with a commercial grade stain/sealer. The result of the old, weathered wood with the fresh wood gave a really cool and elegan…

- [Flood Restoration](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/flood-restoration-pj-vj~787808)
 - Location: Not specified
 - Photos: 60
 - Description: This is what even a relatively small plumbing leak can do. 5 figures in damage. And weeks of work. Nevermind occupancy issues. I was called to handle this flood restoration project start to finish including water mitigation and mold remediation. A toilet supply line had let go in the night and run all night. This is a double-wide mobile home in a retirement community and was scheduled to be listed for sale the day the flood was discovered. Luckily for everyone, the property was vacant. These uni…

- [Subway Tile Backsplash - White on White](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/subway-tile-backsplash-white-on-white-pj-vj~767117)
 - Location: Not specified
 - Photos: 14
 - Description: My client wanted to add a simple, classic subway tile backsplash to her beautiful upscale kitchen. Initially wanting to do standard 3"x6" subway tiles, I suggested a scaled-down 2"x4" version based on the space. The smaller tile would provide more texture and visual appeal in the individual areas to be tiled. The backsplash added the finishing touch to this beautiful kitchen. The white on white tile with the white cabinets, dark granite, stainless appliances and grey walls is pure elegance .

 - Location: Brentwood, NH
 - Photos: 14
 - Description: Client had recently moved into a townhouse and wanted to add character and elegance to the nice, but generic, environment. She specified wainscoting in the Living & Dining Rooms and crown moulding in the Living Room. She chose a classic picture-frame design from previous work I had completed. She also wanted a 2-tone paint scheme throughout with an additional accent wall in the Living Room. I also painted the Kitchen. The end result totally transformed not only the look, but also the feel of the…
- [Small Deck / Entry](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/small-deck-entry-pj-vj~717960)
 - Location: Not specified
 - Photos: 14
 - Description: The existing deck here had been built by one of the previous homeowners. They had only basic knowledge of deck construction and clearly no permits were ever applied for in its construction. The deck was quite literally a death-trap. It was already falling off the house and was ready to collapse entirely. My client hired me to demo and remove the existing deck and replace it with a small one to serve as an entry point to the door. He asked for something basic and simple but functional until he de…

 - Description: High-end painting jobs are one of my specialty concentrations. My reputation is based on a fine surface finish and ultra-clean lines with no over-brushing. Look around your home. If you see wall color on your trim or ceiling, or vice-versa, this is the sign of a typical, sub-par paint job (no offense if you did it yourself). You will find none of this on my completed job.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Does anyone know the manufacturer/item\# of this tile? Thank you!!!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Shawn, that's very nice of you to say. It's no problem. I hope it helps. Good luck!

**Q: Backsplash** *(in Photo Questions)*

what is your source for the backsplash ?

A: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-Long-Grain-3-in-x-6-in-Metal-Decorative-Tile-Backsplash-in-Brushed-Stainless-8-Pack-A52-50/204208646

**Q: how did you do this** *(in Photo Questions)*

one pictures shows the old deck partially removed. did they remove sll of it and replace with new wood?

A: Yes. The whole deck was resurfaced. Stripped of existing wood and replaced with composite material.

**Q: Really like these stainless tiles used by Image Contracting.** *(in Photo Questions)*

What size are they and who makes them / where can I get them?
Thanks so much/love Houzz

A: My client had purchased these from Lowes. They were 3x6. I was engaged after they tried and were unsuccessful at installing them themselves. Lowes apparently no longer carries them. I found some on Home Depot's website: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Instant-Mosaic-6-in-x-3-in-Peel-and-Stick-Brushed-Stainless-Color-Metal-Wall-Tile-8-tiles-1-sq-ft-pack-EKB-03-101/204312769?cm\_mmc=shopping-\_-googleads-\_-pla-\_-204312769&ci\_sku=204312769&ci\_gpa=pla&ci\_src=17588969 . I can't guarantee they are the same ones. The ones I installed had the brushed finish available in 2 directions to get a cool random look. Several of the reviewers for the Home Depot product recommend using a box cutter to cut them. This most certainly did NOT work with the tiles I had. I can't vouche for them being the same tiles, but it's a place to start anyway. Good luck!

**Q: Where is the steel tile from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you Somertile!
