Weather it was rustic, contemporary, modern or classic , Anna Forkum always surprised me with "function" and with "fashion". She was originally brought in by another interior designer who felt Anna's skills would better serve my need for a design for an outdoor space. We converted a small grassy area into a gravel patio, which she first drew up and then brought in the people needed to implement. She next chose the furniture, planters, plants, etc., that perfectly fit the English country style of my stone cottage. I was so impressed by her ability to conceptualize it all, starting with nothing, that, over the years I have employed her design services to help me in almost every room in my house. We have progressed from my initial shabby chic aesthetic to an eclectic and whimsical one. She added color and fun, enabling me to change the look without causing me to have to start all over with huge new purchases. She has always used her creativity and vision to bring out my own, always keeping me within budget. Anna has more style and knowledge about style than anyone else I have ever used to help me! And her advice has expanded my knowledge and confidence, enabling me to do a lot on my own. She knows who can get the work done, from slipcovers to upholsterers to electricians, and more.
