> Our home was built in 1906.  When we purchased it(some 30 years ago), we did so with the intent of restoring the home to its original stately condition.  During this time, we have used the professional services of many independent contractors in our area.  Unfortunately, some not very talented.  Our latest update included the installation of a very old, large stained glass window in a area at the end of a long hallway some 1 1/2 stories from ground level.  We knew this would require the craftsman-ship of a "talented" builder who would be willing to work with our individual circumstances by incorporating  this unique architectural treasure into a beautiful focal point.  Our desire was for the window to appear to be a very large" framed" stained glass " picture."  Mr. Herring worked with us; made suggestions; took all of our ideas and respected our ultimate goal of making this structural change/addition to our home not appear as an add-on addition.  The result: a beautiful focal point for anyone entering our home.  He is a very talented, eager to please professional.
