> Excellent company. Solid plan, great communication, transparent billing. Small issues always arise; they are reasonable and constructive in problem solving. Their subs are vetted. Quality is superb and they stand by their work. Highly recommended.

> After touring several Design Guild Homes' projects and being impressed with the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in those homes, we entrusted them to build our custom dream home in the Issaquah Highlands. Every step of the process confirmed that we had hired the right team. Before we even had a contract, Joel consulted on the final revisions of our architectural plans and inspected deeply wooded lots to ensure that we bought the best possible lot that suited our needs and desires. They navigated us through a sea of options from windows and doors to millwork and fixtures. Joel and Tom had great ideas throughout the project that improved the overall quality of the construction. They hired real craftsmen as sub-contractors, particularly for the finish carpentry, tile work and masonry.

> Everyone who enters our home is impressed with the craftsmanship and high-quality materials. Joel and Tom cared about the home as much as we did, and it shows in the final product. After hearing contractor horror stories from friends who also built custom homes, I am convinced that Design Guild is the most professional, high-quality builder in the market. We recommend them to anyone thinking about a construction project.

> Design Guild Homes is nothing less than exceptional. Joel and Steve Glass were wonderful to work with on our custom build home, from finding the perfect lot right through the final stages of construction. And the caliber of their service hasn't ended there — both are quick to make time for warranty-related and other questions Four years after completion and I'm still made to feel just as important as the next client. Thorough, detail-oriented, honest, cost-conscious, quality craftsmanship and those are just the tip of the iceberg. My handyman even commented how solid and well constructed the foundation and stucco were built. Our next home will definitely be built by DGH.

> We hired Design Guild to do a massive renovation of our home. Joe and Tom Glass were very professionals and delivered a very high quality product. They worked collaboratively with us to come up with ideas to make our project better. Design Guild is service-oriented and they have remarkable follow-through on minor warranty items. We highly recommend Design Guild.

> Working with Design Guild was a pleasure. Joel and Tom were wonderful to work with and were willing to answer our many questions and concerns as construction progressed. We had worked with an architectural team to design our home and were getting ready to start when the economy took a major turn in 2008. It was a few years before we felt it was prudent to go forward and it quickly became clear that the builder we'd originally planned on working with was not the right fit. We had walked through a Design Guild home for sale in our neighborhood and were impressed with the detail and feel of the home. When we asked them to bid on our project, it was clear that that they also offered the best value for our dollars. Given the uncertainty in the real estate market, we appreciated the help they provided in making smart cost-benefit choices without compromising the quality of the final product.
>
> It was our first (and only) time building a custom home and there was a lot of thought and effort and that went into the process on everyone's part. A dear friend who is a retired building inspector has frequently commented on the quality of Design Guild's work. We could not be happier with our home and the craftsmanship is evident throughout.

**★★★★★ — renapitasky, Jan. 2014**

> We have been lucky to live in two Design Guild homes since moving to Seattle 15 years ago. Our first experience was in a beautiful neighborhood, where we came across a Design Guild home ready for sale. We were impressed with the style and quality of the home and the overall level of service. Several years later we decided to build a custom home and immediately thought of Design Guild. It would be an understatement to say that they helped us with the process. Tom and Joel were partners in every sense of the word. They helped us navigate through each phase and in the end helped us build our dream home. Even after the home was built they have remained very supportive in taking care of the little things that come up from time to time. We could not be happier with the decision to buy a Design Guild home (twice!) and over time have come to know them as part of our extended family.

> Design Guild Homes did a great job in setting expectations and working with us in the process. We did a backyard remodel which consisted of removing a swimming pool, terracing part of the yard, and installing a sports court. I would recommend them as well as use them again.

> We used Design Guild Homes when we built our house 10 years ago and were very happy with the experience. When it was time to do a remodel, we went straight back to them. They communicate well, make helpful suggestions, manage the subcontractors appropriately, and take care of any and all problems that arise.
