> We have had an amazing experience working with Amy.  We had the opportunity to fine tune renovation plans for our 1920s, brick colonial.  She helped us to design a 1.5 story, 1,100 square foot addition and a covered outdoor living space.  She was very thorough and thoughtful and listened to our wishes and wants while giving us her expert opinion.  She is mindful on flow, layouts and thinking through ways to ensure that the project would grow well with our family as our kids get older.  Amy was able to make sure that our current project can accommodate potential plans for a future pool.  Amy is very knowledgeable and experienced on the rules/variances in working with our city as it pertains to lot coverage etc.  She is professional, timely and very responsive.  She also works very well with our contractor.  We could not have asked for a better experience in helping to design this addition for our home. We hired Amy to design a new home from the ground up, incorporating as many forward-thinking and eco-friendly design aspects as possible. This house will be on a modest urban lot, in a historic district that requires board review for new builds. Our wants were specific and lengthy; this was not a simple job. After interviewing us in depth, she came back with not one, but three different design approaches, incorporating every single request into each, without the need for zoning variances. We were beyond impressed, and flat-out stunned! We chose one direction, and after a few revisions, she presented us with an amazing design that included everything we requested. The design is livable, flexible, attractive, and sensible.

> We used Amy both for a major addition before she had her own firm and then again when we did a major renovation of the basement in our home. The common connection was Riverstone, our contractor. The house was built in 1940 so Amy had to deal with both the old, low-ceilinged part of the house and the new basement that we dug out but didn't finish when we did the addition. We really liked her creativity and flexibility and were thrilled with the final result: three main rooms plus a full bath and storage in the basement plus a new bathroom on the first floor and a hidden library on the second floor. She really listened well to what we wanted. Couldn't be happier and we'd happily recommend her.
