In particular, Amanda Cerra, KSI project manager used an excellent project management process. Initially she listened well to our goals for both improving our kitchen and keeping the costs within our budget. Also, KSI had to complete the project while we were overseas for the duration of the remodeling. Communications and coordination were excellent from beginning to end. KSI

> We used an excellent general contractor for our kitchen remodel who suggested using KSI for cabinet design, and had our first meeting with Amanda in July 2015. We were impressed with her excellent listening skills and how much she seemed to want to get to know our overall tastes and vision for the new kitchen. In subsequent meetings, we were all the more impressed not only with her beautiful design, but with her outstanding (and rare) qualities of exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and knowledge. She kept us on-budget and kept our project running on-time. Whenever we had questions or were unsure of how something might look, she found examples to show us, shared pictures with us, emailed information to us. If we ever emailed or called her with a question, she was so quick to respond, so responsible, and she was extremely thorough.  There were last-minute questions and changes we made, and she was helpful and flexible, stopping by the house on a couple of occasions to drop off a sample. Once our order was finalized, she did an excellent job of keeping us updated. She also was kind enough to give us her opinion and/or steer us toward good sources to use for the many other design decisions we needed to make for our new kitchen project. We became very comfortable--even amid the stress of such a large undertaking--that nothing would fall through the cracks as long as Amanda was around. Sure enough, our remodel went off virtually perfectly. When the cabinet manufacturer sent one cabinet that had been packaged incorrectly and caused a slight defect, Amanda was quick to offer her help and make sure that all was taken care of very satisfactorily. The finished product was even better than we had dreamed. Our kitchen (which had been cramped, dark, and dated) became light and open with the help of our trusted contractor and the exceptional work that Amanda Birkner provided through KSI. We love all of our cabinets--the look is exactly what we wanted--but best of all, the functionality of the new space is remarkable. It has been a year since we first met with Amanda, and we are loving our kitchen more than ever. Thanks to many of the suggestions Amanda made, cooking and gathering in our kitchen is a dream come true. I could not recommend a designer any more highly than I do Amanda Birkner at KSI. We should also add that our contractor noted that they had never worked with a designer who was as reliable, knowledgeable, and great to work with as Amanda--and have continued to recommend her to their other clients.  (Additionally, as part of this project, we purchased new bathroom cabinets from Amanda/KSI for three of the bathrooms in our home which were worn and dated, and these are also lovely and very functional. Great company to work with; superior designer to work with!)

Amanda was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with.  She was friendly and knowledgeable.  She designed our kitchen exactly to our liking and would happily make tweaks as we changed our minds on minor things during the design process.  Amanda was able to tie in style and functionality and provided honest feedback about what she thought would work or not work. what kind of countertop and backsplash is that?

A: Hi Ashley,

The countertop is Wilsonart, the color is called "Milano Quartz". They did not purchase the tile backsplash through me so I do not have that info unfortunately. Thanks!

Are these Merillat Classic cabs? What style and color?

A: Hi Jenny! Yes, these are Merillat Classic cabinets. Door style is Ralston w/ 5-piece drawer front. Finish is Maple Chiffon w/ Desert Glaze. Thanks!
