> During the winter storm of the Vernon offered to send out some of his employees to assist the neighbors in Dignowity Hill if they were having any plumbing problems since a lot of pipes were breaking and lost of a people were with out water and power. I saw the post and put it in the back of my mind later that day I was talking to my mom and she told me that our water heater had went out but she wasn’t sure if it was just the pilot light that had blew out from the wind or something more. My dad was unable to check it out as he was dealing with health issues, she being elderly has her own medical problems that cause her limitations and me myself I really have no idea how to begin with lighting a hot water heater. I told her about the post I had saw earlier that day and got the number to BRC group. We called and spoke to Beatrice and she stated she would see if she could get some one out. She soon called back and started she wasn’t able to get anyone out that evening but the next morning the owner Vernon would come check it out we set the appointment. He arrived in a timely manner and it was a simple fix as it was just the pilot that needed to be relit. We were very pleased with the service provided and my mom says she will definitely be calling aging next time she needs something worked on.

> The work was done very well and communication was very good through out the process. I have been looking for a trustworthy organization to handle my remodeling needs and I think I found it.

> We hired BRC Remodeling Group to demo and rebuild a 2 story wraparound porch on my mother’s 100 year old house. They did an outstanding job! The team was super friendly and respectful of my mom’s property in that they cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. We asked for a couple of changes along the way and Vernon was quick to incorporate those changes. I especially appreciated the great communication from Beatrice, the one who keeps it all together :-). Thank you BRC for making the process flow so easily.

**★★★★★ — Doug Brewer, Dec. 2020**

> The BRC team was professional and treated our time and our home with respect. They were on time, responded to questions quickly ans did a thorough job. The only delay was due to a custom ordered part that was delayed by COVID. Even then they kept me in the loop. I’ll hire them again.

> Everything from the initial phone call to the completed project was handled with extreme courtesy, care, & perfection. Beatrice, Vernon, Tony, Alex & the rest of the team handled everything with such care & respect. Anything I needed/wanted/changed, was done to my satisfaction. There couldn't be a more friendlier staff who actually listen, understand, & strive to make the customer happy. I am very pleased with the finished product & even added on projects that they took care of & made my life easier. Totally recommend BRC for any future projects.

> BRC Remodeling Group did an outstanding job! They remodeled my entire home- kitchen, guest and master bath, fireplace. It was completely gutted and redone. They added 200 sqft to enlarge Master bathroom.
> Staff is so great to work with and they take the time to listen to your requests/opinions. They use a color coded “draw system” meaning you pay in phases- so easy to follow and keep track. After doing much research and getting several quotes, I am so happy I decided on BRC!

> Since I live outside of the U.S., it was very important for me to find a San Antonio-based company to remodel the home I grew up in. BRC took my project very seriously and delivered what can be regarded as a new house. Given the distance between the location of the project in San Antonio and my home in Germany it was also very important for me to work with a trustworthy company, and I was not disappointed.Throughout all phases of the project, BRC provided me regular updates and responded quickly to any questions I had. The budget was met and most important, the craftsmanship is stellar! If you are considering any remodeling projects, I can wholeheartedly recommend the professionals at BRC!

**★★★★★ — Anthony White, July 2020**

> BRC did a great job for us. We hired them to remove an office, replace/repair our drop ceiling and add ceiling fans to our facility. They were very professional completed the job on time, at estimated costs. I had used them before to replace the roof and complete electrical repairs and they proved they were more than capable then, and after this job I will be contacting them in the future as we continue to improve our facility.

**★★★★★ — Anastasia Nunn, April 2020**

> It was a real pleasure to have a company like BRC to help finish building our backyard deck. After our first contractor failed to deliver a finish product, we called BRC and they were more than happy to take on the job. Their staff not only delivered a beautiful finished product within the allotted time but they were very knowledgeable, polite and helpful through this very stressful project. I was very pleased that the staff cleaned their work area at the end of each working day. And the owner come out and walked the job site to ensure we were satisfied with our new deck. BRC did an excellent job!!

**★★★★★ — Anne, March 2020**

> BRC did a complete bathroom remodel for us in 2019. The project was to update a second bathroom to be suitable for guests but also stand up to daily use by young children. In addition, we wanted to reconfigure some space that was taken up by an awkward built-in. The BRC team was really attentive to how the space would be used, and the end result is just what we were hoping for - spacious, bright, and sturdy enough for kids. We knew it would be a little risky starting a big project right before the holidays, and demolition revealed some old-house issues that needed to be addressed as part of the project. We were given a lot of information about how the construction would be impacted, and ultimately the project finished on schedule. We appreciated that our questions during the process were all addressed in a timely way. As remodeling projects go, this one was a breeze from start to finish and we would definitely consider BRC for future renovation plans.

## Community Q&A

**Q: What color grout was used?** *(in Photo Questions)*

We are using this same tile for our kitchen backsplash. I like the look of the grout. Adds some color and definition without having a “checkerboard” appearance.

A: I love that tile! It really gives you that hand made look and character. We used Mapei Grout Warm Gray 93. The only other thing I will say is that due to the nature of that tile... it is impossible to have even, perfectly straight grout lines. The tile is wavy which gives it that AMAZING look, but if you are a perfectionist I’d suggest a different tile. Love to see how yours turns out!!!

**Q: Grout Color for subway tile** *(in Photo Questions)*

We are using this exact tile for our backsplash. What color grey grout did you go with?

A: I’m so sorry, I missed this question. It is Mapei Grout Warm Gray 93! I really LOVE the Artigiano tile. One of my favorite backsplashes.

**Q: Can you tell me what the shower tile is and manufacturer and color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Not a problem, this granite is actually Santa Cecelia, but New Venetian Gold and Santa Cecelia look very similar. My suggestion would be to go to the granite yard and look at both colors and pick out the slab that you like best. When it come to price, they are the same so you can't go wrong with either granite. The shower floor is the SL83 in 2x2. And just in case, the wall color is Sherwin Williams Kilim Beige SW6106.

**Q: Backsplash** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the name of the tile and the company who makes it?

A: Sorry for the delayed response to your question. The owner changed their mind on this house and bought the backsplash so I, unfortunately do not have the material name. I tried contacting them to find out but they don't remember. Sorry I can't be of more help on this one.

**Q: The exterior color please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you for asking about this house. We used Sherwin Williams paint colors on this house. The body of the house is Dorian Gray SW7017, trim is Pure White SW7005, the shutters are Black Magic SW6991 and the door is Poinsettia SW6594 please let me know if you have any other questions.

**Q: need help with kitchen cabinet hardware** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have older oak kitchen cabinets (ca. 1980) and got new stainless steel appliances. I would like to update the old cabinet pulls and hinges. What would be the best finish?

A: I would do some form of Nickel, there is polished, brushed or satin nickel. Any of those will look good with stainless appliances.
