> We built a lake house with Burg Homes and Designs.  Jesse Burg designed the house after talking to my husband and I about how we wanted the house to feel, how we were going to use it, how we were going to entertain.  The entire Burg team was great to work with. Great quality construction. Burg Homes also stand by their work, addressing any issues that arise more than a year after we moved in.  The house turned into our home, it is more than we could have imagined.

> It has so many unique features, from a refurbished church bench, to a steel floor in our half bath, concrete counter tops, a custom built dining table that seats 14, rebar spindles, beautiful rough cut wood floor, and fantastic entertaining spaces throughout, just to name a few. All the cabinetry was custom built by Millhouse & Company. Jesse worked closely with us to pick out unique finishes to all the cabinets, the perfect counter tops, paint colors and so much more. The colors and finishes work so well together.

**Q: Love the counter top.  Is there a granite that looks like this?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello, the only granite that I know of that has a very similar appearance to Carrara is River White granite. White Calcutta Verde granite looks somewhat like marble and Glacier White and Dolomite granite are good alternatives as well.

A: This home is about 4,550 s.f.

**Q: Door hardware** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What finish hardware on white interior doors oil bronze or brushed nickel.

A: If you are going for a more traditional look, black/bronze hardware on a white door is very sharp, great contrast and if you order nice hardware that you'd like noticed, it's the way to go. Brushed nickel hardware is a much softer look. It works great if you have a light neutral/soft color pallet in your home or if you don't want your hardware to stand out as much.

A: It is the Kichler Everly Bronze Glass 13-3/4" Wide Pendant.
