Adrian Smith has been involved in construction his whole life.  From 8 years old to 18, he would spend summers with his grandpa building homes in Sun Valley, ID.  Mostly cleaning the site, the first couple years and giving the guys an extra hand.  He was always eager to help and learn.  By 12 years old he was wearing bags, reading plans, and laying out walls.  It was here he developed most of the skills to build and manage projects he uses today.  It was here that his grandfather instilled the values of working hard, providing quality craftsmanship, and always putting the customer’s needs first.

After moving to the Bay Area in 2008, Adrian began working as a superintendent for a high-end custom home builder.  He uses the skills that he developed at a young age rising the ranks from laborer, foreman, superintendent, and now business owner.  He leads by setting an example: showing up early, staying late, having a positive and calm disposition, and being a reliable problem-solver.

> Adrian did an amazing job for us.  I needed to have four bathrooms demolished and reconstructed, demolition and removal of flooring throughout and replacement of hardwood flooring and painting an entire house (3,000 SF) with high ceilings.  There was also a substantial amount of electrical upgrades and plumbing.  He worked on pricing and lining up subcontractors before we even closed escrow.  The day after we closed a crew of ten were busy starting a huge demo project.  The value of our contract was approximately $300k and he completed the job, including delays due to late issuance of permits in ten weeks.  I would HIGHLY recommend him for any remodel project.  He has a deep knowledge of the remodeling market and I am certain he could build anything from the ground up.  He was easy to work with and remained on schedule even when we ran into delays that were beyond his control.  He quickly had a plan B and moved his resources around accordingly.  I am going to be remodeling my kitchen soon and I will not hesitate to use him again.

We did a moderate sized remodel including four bathrooms, a family room, living room, our front and back door as well as installing large sliders. From the get go Adrian struck as as very different from the other contractors we received estimates from. He was a great communicator and showed up when he said he would. From start to finish he was organized, thorough, creative, and a great advocate for us when dealing with subcontractors. He was detail oriented and always made sure things were done right. He was almost always on the job site and was always available to meet with us to go through issues as they came up. In addition, the projects within our remodel that Adrian did himself were done impeccably. He even made us a custom sauna that rivals anything we could have bought! We could not have been happier with his work.

Hi, the leather chair is beautiful! Where is it from?

A: Sorry. Not to sure. The home owners have had it for some time.

I'm having a super difficult time getting shelves like this in Canada

A: The shelving material is rift white oak (very popular right now). There is no stain just a clear finish.

**Q: Love the hooks on the wall. Can you share where they came from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

The hooks are very streamline on the walls. Would love to know where they came from!

A: Hi have no idea where the hooks where purchased. Sorry i cant be of help.

**Q: do you know what if any stain was used on the mantle** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have almost the same set up and love the mantle colour of yours

A: Hi Doug! Thank you! The mantle and shelves are rift white oak with just a clear finish, no stain.

**Q: how wide is the range hood wall? (with upper cabinets)** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I don’t remember the length of the wall but I know it was a 48” range.
