We didn't really feel like we were the kind of people who were fancy enough to work with a designer. But it turns out, you don't need to be fancy to work with a designer. Working with Lauren saved us time, aggravation, and most surprisingly, money. As a professional, she receives a design discount from many retailers. Her fee was covered by the discount we received on our purchases. Lauren listened to what we wanted and took into account how we live. We have a teenager and a Labrador Retriever. The house had to be a place where our teenager felt comfortable, and we weren't constantly worried about the dog ruining the furniture. We wanted a living room that was so inviting it would lure our daughter from her room. Lauren's design achieved that. It's warm and inviting but also modern and light.
