> The project took about 8 months.  Berhardt worked with me as I was living abroad that entire time and would come to NYC periodically to select materials and finishes. Basically, they worked unsupervised although we were in constant contact. I was ecstatic at the completion of the project due both to the process and the result.  I found them totally honest and direct. They did not "nickel and dime" any part of the process.  They also offered tasteful, and diplomatic, opinions when they thought I erred on a selection....and worked seamlessly with my VERY difficult architect.  They determined that they would make that relationship work and they did.  I have recommended them numerous times to friends as they are a quality, honorable firm in an industry not always that way.
