The hand finished undulated Versailles floor speaks for itself, but we were equally impressed with the Chateau flooring, in fact it exceeded our expectations and is perfect for our home. The Chateau is a new engineered product, but the wire brushing and oils really bring out character and 'age'. When the Bluestone (a special order counter rather than typical use for flooring) became unavailable, he remembered us when it became available again; great service as this particular piece was not a large sale by any means. We live close enough we have visited his shop. All the materials and products are impressive. If our budget was just a hair more, would loved to have used him for a French limestone mantel and other products. Thanks again Stefan! So our engineered planks look truly like solid planks but are much more stable. Naturally we can also produce solid planks from it but we prefer the engineered version. We custom finish all our wood floors in our shop here in South Carolina.
