### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Don Glaser, Aug. 2019**

> Stefan supplied 'Chateau' and Versailles flooring for our new home, as well as Belgian Bluestone. The hand finished undulated Versailles floor speaks for itself, but we were equally impressed with the Chateau flooring, in fact it exceeded our expectations and is perfect for our home. The Chateau is a new engineered product, but the wire brushing and oils really bring out character and 'age'. When the Bluestone (a special order counter rather than typical use for flooring) became unavailable, he remembered us when it became available again; great service as this particular piece was not a large sale by any means. We live close enough we have visited his shop. All the materials and products are impressive. If our budget was just a hair more, would loved to have used him for a French limestone mantel and other products. Thanks again Stefan! Don Glaser

**★★★★★ — ALAN HUBBARD, March 2019**

> For our $180,000+ remodeling Project, we chose the Antique Reclaimed French Oak Flooring - Style Origine. Our house was built in 2006 but was designed to look like a home from the 1920s. Once we saw Stefan's reclaimed flooring, we knew it was a perfect match for that 100 year old feel. Because the product is reclaimed, you get all those fantastic characteristics that are impossible to reproduce - making every board its own piece of artwork. The best part of working with Stefan is the Excellent Communication he provided..not only to my wife and I but most importantly the time he spent with our installers to make sure the correct amount of product was ordered and that it was installed correctly.

> We waited to post this review for 9 months so we could see how the product responded to everyday use. We can say the floor still looks as amazing today as it looked when it was first installed. The floor is extremely easy to maintain and the only treatment we provide to the floor is Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner which is applied by our cleaners every other week. If you're looking for a Super High End, Highly Authentic Looking Floor with Little Upkeep required, and Excellent Product Support, we would Recommend using Stefan with Vintage Elements.

**★★★★★ — Leigh Wilkes, April 2018**

> Stefan is an absolute pleasure to work with. His products truly helped to transform our home built in 1795 to a magical place. We used his French oak flooring in a classic chevron parquet with a light washed out oil finish for the living room. In the master bath, his Belgium Bluestone with it's subtly pillowed and distressed edges and warm polished surface complements the rustic patina of century-old revealed plaster. His Grey French limestone provides an authentic yet utilitarian floor for the kitchen and powder room. The structural and decorative antique beams we used throughout the home are absolutely gorgeous and provide an immediate WOW factor. Stephan is a true master in this business, he cares about each and every project and helped to keep us under budget for our flooring needs. His prices are beyond fair and we are beyond pleased!

**★★★★★ — Lisa Lawson, April 2018**

> Vintage Elements supplied reclaimed beams and reclaimed siding for a new residential project that replicated a 150+ year old Tuscan farmhouse. Stefan was fantastic throughout the project, providing us with timely cost proposals and responses to our many questions. I highly recommend Stefan and his team at Vintage Elements.

**★★★★★ — Anne Sorrells, Jan. 2017**

> We worked with Stephan for many months during our complete remodel of our home...he was able to locate and ship antique french terracotta tile in the colors we wanted and the quantity.Stephan also had tile shipped directly. It was a pleasure to meet him in person .Stephan showed us all of the beautiful vintage elements he has...we are still continuing to do repeat business as the house progresses...Vintage Elements is very professional and very helpful.Every time we had a question regarding installation of french tile Stephan was prompt to contact us. Could not be happier...

**★★★★★ — lance7350, Nov. 2016**

> Vintage elements could not be any better to work with. They hAve nice quality beams and are so accommodating. Stefan goes the extra mile to make sure all his beams are matched in style to the usage for which they are intended. We have an interior design business, CHD Interiors, and will continue to use vintage for our projects.

**★★★★★ — Catherine Gertner, Aug. 2016**

> I'm an interior designer based in NYC. My experience with Vintage Elements has been great. Stefan is very professional and knowledgable about his products. I purchased antique Belgian bluestone tiles and had them shipped to NYC for a client. Shipping was fast and professional. I am currently working on a new residential project and back in touch with Vintage Elements to source further materials.

**★★★★★ — vcaldero01, Aug. 2016**

> Stefan was able to provide us beautiful and very unique elements that we were looking for a new home.
> He went above and beyond when finding the beams, flooring, fountain that we were looking for.
> You will not find a better "package" anywhere else. He will give the attention, quality and excellent service you are looking for.

**Comment from Vintage Elements LLC:**

> Thanks Vlad, can't wait to send a photographer over to get some photos. Stefan

**★★★★★ — HU-768162, July 2016**

> The support and professionalism from Vintage Elements whilst deciding on the flooring my new house was invaluable. As I was in a different State (and at times outside the US) the speedy and helpful replies allowed me to make a confident decision to use VE for over 2000sq ft or flooring. Constant updates and photographs at timely stages were fantastic and unprompted. They just want to help you get exactly what you want and once the products were delivered (exactly on schedule I might add), I was 100% satisfied and there was no disappointment at all. The follow help has also been second to none. I could not recommend this company highly enough. 5 Star service from start to finish.

**Comment from Vintage Elements LLC:**

> Thanks for the review. We can't wait for final install photos of this unique floor. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

## Community Q&A

**Q: french terracotta floor tiles** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the flooring. What size are the terracotta floor tiles? Are the hardwood inlays 4 inch wide planks?

A: 4” width pickets and 6” square terracotta. We have it in stock

**Q: Hello** *(in Product Questions)*

what is the difference between hardwood and engineered hardwood and if my space to lay ...this wood is 550 feet ( sooo far) what would I order.....I am not a carpenter....but I do have a professional....to work with?thank you ....just beautiful wood.....dj

A: If it is a coastal home or a second home with high humidity swings, I would recommend we produce it in engineered form as it will be more stable. If it is your main home or a home in a dry climate we can produce it in solid form.

Contact us anytime.

**Q: could I get a sample? is it still available?** *(in Product Questions)*

I would need 2916 sq ft.

Vintage Elements

**Q: Can I get a sample of a laminate flooring mailed to me?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: Would love to send some samples to you, but would need a name for the UPS label. Or can I just use your houzz.com name? Let me know.

**Q: Where is this flooring made and shipped from?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: Dear Betty:
I import airdried Lorraine French white oak stock and engineer and mill it here in the US via a sawn process. So our engineered planks look truly like solid planks but are much more stable. Naturally we can also produce solid planks from it but we prefer the engineered version. We custom finish all our wood floors in our shop here in South Carolina. We ship our finished floors all over the US and even back to Europe.

**Q: Is this flooring still available?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: We can produce this floor for $11/sq.ft. for 7" wide planks + shipping, completely prefinished in French oak. Yes I will be glad to send you a sample. Just email me your shipping address.
Stefan
