**Q: Stuck on neutrals, is some color needed?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Been working on this Florida villa for awhile.  While I gravitate toward neutral colors and texture, I think this needs just a touch of "something" .  Maybe, I just need another eye.   Questions:   
1\. Should I lighten my walls? (Currently BM rock port gray).  Or do an accent wall
2\.  Change the table in front of couch?   (Round glass like pottery barns tanner table) is current table to big/blah?  Paint the woos?  What color?
3\.   Change sofa pillows, more pattern/additional pattern/color
4\.  Any other ideas?

A: Why not do an accent wall that's not one color but maybe a white stripe or a fun wallpaper so you don't have to totally commit to one color... Then pull in some pillows and bright vases and glass and artsy pieces on top of the cabinets. Add fun colorful art if you're still lacking ;) good luck and happy decorating!!! Xo

**Q: Our kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Our home is saturated with brown... Brown floors, brown cabinets, brown doors, etc... I would like to update the look of our kitchen by painting our cabinets, changing out the knobs/pulls, and replacing the backsplash and countertops. What do you think about gray/beige "greige" paint color? We are also looking to remodel the attached family room. I'd like to rip out the built-ins and replace with windows to bring in some much needed light. What are your suggestions about placement? I have considered large windows on each side of the fireplace with window seats below. Any other ideas/suggestions? TIA!!

A: If anything paint your island. I wouldn't paint all your cabinets as they are so gorgeous!!! Having an accent island or even replacing some door with glass doors, removing the appliqué on the front of the range, changing out the backsplash for sure to a crisp subway tile that pulls in the accent island, and then either ripping out the built ins or painting them the accent island color would be great! Good luck!!!
