> I recently had Jeane and Pat (Tailorly Home) help me with what I considered an ‘overwhelming’ task of organizing my attic and reorganizing my studio. We spent 2 full days with part 1 – organizing and purging my attic space and then part 2 – transferring items and building IKEA storage units for everything we moved. After discussing my goals and objectives, Jeane and Pat dove in! For reference, my space was filled with art materials, tools … and ‘random stuff’. They both have a great sense of intuition and rationale when it comes to categorizing and labeling items based on function and importance. They have also probably seen everything from people like me who collect lots of ‘treasures’ from nature, to others who are total hoarders! I felt as though they quickly identified my personality type and were able to gently suggest (without judgment) when things should be tossed or not. Having a storage container labeled ‘sentimental’ really helped for those items that I just couldn’t part with but didn’t know what to do with (yet). They know just the right questions to ask to determine whether something is a keeper or not. Because of this, the process became easier and the garbage bags filled quickly! Day 2 was spent transporting items to a new location at my home and building storage units. They both have a good sense of space, layout, and design which was super helpful for deciding placement of new storage, tables, and equipment for my new art studio. I would highly recommend using Pat and Jeane at Tailorly Home for all of your home organizing needs! You’ll be happy you did!!
