Help** *(in Design Dilemma)* How can we redo it for more space A: Hello Belinda, Not being able to see from farther back; is it a dropped soffit? And is it a two story or single story home? Also, what is the wall on the right separating? These three questions would be needed to be answered in order to give you some additional options. Taking a picture from farther back would help me and measuring the floor to ceiling height could also help to determine if you have a dropped soffit. Let us know and maybe we can help you further. A: Hello Sonya, As in the project photo the only accented wall is the entire mantel area, except for the base board, door casing and crown, but know that an entire living room is typically one color on the walls and another accent color on the ceiling typically being a slight off white color especially with an 8' ceiling height, and should usually be painted a slight off white color. In this case all the white was infact Swiss Coffee, and the ceiling was an eggsheell sheen. Back to the main question though; In my opinion accenting the kitchen from the rest of the living areas is preferred because in most cases you want a kitchen to have it's own personality. Painting living areas like a dinning area and living room different colors defines and separates those rooms from one another quite a bit. The size of the home really needs to be considered because you really don't want to segment each living area with different wall colors in a small home because it can make it look even smaller. Sincerely, ADR **Q: blue sink** *(in Photo Questions)* How do I buy products from you? A: You have to take into consideration the various other surface applications associated with the entire room. You might want to consider a "solid surface" in black as apposed to using a tile because of the grout lines associated with using tile. It will make for a better and cleaner contrast between the vessel bowl and the counter top. The grout lines can clash with the beauty of the vessel and actually take away from the vessel, which you typically want to be the focal point, at least on the counter. Moreover the solid surface makes for a an easier counter top regarding cleanliness. Keep in mind that the counter top being "solid surface" will have a much cleaner looking transition with the vessel sitting on the counter-top, especially if it is recessed a little into the counter-top, which makes for a better look.
