> My husband and I highly recommend RAAD design.  The house shown under “Beach House” in their project list is ours.  We have lived in it a year and love it.  They listened to how we live at the beach and came up with a truly different design that is beautiful and highly functional.  The house had to be 14 feet above the ground.  By tucking it into sand dunes and creating a beautiful boardwalk through the middle of the ground level, the house avoids the dangling in the air look of some coastal homes.  The tiered decks each have a use that pulls people down to the ground without a treacherous staircase.  They were very involved and connected throughout the project, were timely with their work and responses, and knew when to push us because it mattered and when to take our feedback.  They are creative, kind and fun to work with.

A: Hi. The sill is just spray finished white wood using a satin laquer and the natural wood is oiled walnut. It's a nice combo.
