After one year privacy Lattices they put on the fence started to break and falling down. Also, the fence started bending. I called them and ask them if they can fix with cost. Their subcontractor did a shoddy job replacing our wooden deck surface with Trex and replacing our stairs. They started by lightly spraying a primer coat of white paint on the support structures and the railings. Even though they laid a plastic tarp down, they still managed to get paint on the stone patio, the stone water features and the adjacent gardens that are under the deck. After removing the wooden deck, I expected the next step would be to put a second credit card thick coat of paint on the exposed structure and railings and get any areas that were missed by the spraying. Instead, they installed the Trex and then hand painted selected areas leaving the overall white features inconsistent and messy. The hand painting also got on the Trex. After they left, I realized that the replaced stairs were not properly aligned and each step was custom made so no two steps matched. I also found trash, tools, screws, saw blades and tape that was left behind. When I complained to Deck Helmet, with a lengthy email and photos, I was told that the subcontractor would come out to fix the problem. I also went online and generated punch lists to further document the areas that needed correcting. After getting no response, I decided to finish the job myself. After two weeks of meticulously taping and painting around the Trex and filling holes and areas that was documented but not addressed, I am now finished.
