We met with another builder, before Dabbert, that after our initial meeting with their team and looking at one of their model homes we were less then enthused about building with them. Our relator suggested we take a look at one of Dabbert's model homes and from the instant we walked through the front door we were blown away by the overall quality of the model home and knew Dabbert was the builder for us. After looking on their website, we fell in love with the Ashley model and felt it would best suit the needs of our growing family. We were impressed with how prepared the team was during our initial meeting, listened to our vision and helped us make our dream home a reality. We really appreciated the list of upgrades (prices included) and the amount of standard options that were available for our selections so we could ensure we stayed within our budget and made sure we got what we wanted in our build. During our selection meetings, the designer did a fantastic job of getting a feel for what we liked and making recommendations of what would look best together. The team did a great job of keeping us up to date where our build was at throughout the process. Our only complaint was that we had hoped to close before Christmas but weren't able to close until early February. We understand that there were factors that were outside of Dabbert's control that led to our close date being a continuous moving target and that no build goes smoothly. That being said, what really won us over with Dabbert was what happened after we moved in. There was an ugly blackspot on one of our granite countertops that we wanted replaced and instead of telling us "SOL" they listened to us and worked with their contractors to get the slab replaced. We look forward to working with their team as we have a few things that need to be completed come spring time and we feel comfortable reaching out to them if we experience any issues with our house.
