The subcontractors were all professional and they all made an effort not to mess up the rest of our house as we were living there. The workmanship was top quality. Mr. Dunn came and looked, made sketches, gave an estimate, and told me he could get me scheduled within a few weeks. He was understanding that we wanted to save money by doing parts of the project later (painting). He helped us source supplies for more cost-savings. Overall the project was done beautifully and without supervision. When the crew ran into an unexpected question, Mr. Dunn just phoned me and presented me with some options. For me, I feel better having a contractor that knows which issues warrant a phone call. We have been so pleased with our kitchen upgrades and we definitely plan to use Dunn Development for future projects. All of the direct hires and sub-contractors were mindful of its provisions. Robert and his crew were professional, diligent and did their very best to fulfill our expectations. The project (master bedroom and two bath remodels with custom shower, vanity, closet and storage ) came in on time and at budget. This project required work from contractors in framing, plumbing, electrical, carpet and tile, painting, cabinet making and finish carpentry. The last two are Dunn Development specialties. No project I've ever been associated with has been completed 100% trouble free, and this one was no exception. What I can say though is that Dunn Development worked through any and all issues with a minimum of fuss and entirely satisfactory results - and still met budget! We contracted with Dunn Development, Inc. for this project. Through our initial discussion to the end of the project, all went very well. The garage is 28 x 32, with an attic space in which we can stand. We were placing the garage at the foot of an incline, which required some excavation. This was done quickly, and the slab was laid for the floor. The cost came in at what we expected, and the work was done extremely well and neatly! We then watched the carpenters begin to build the structure. Dunn Development brought in a very experienced and capable team, and they were courteous - and they cleaned up at the end of every day! (You can see I think that is important!) The work continued with the same type of professionalism and courtesy for the drywall, electrical, siding and painting. All of the teams were top-notch, and they all cleaned up the work site as they went. Additionally, Dunn Development suggested that we could get our electric service from the street to the house placed underground, working this in with the electric work for the garage. We had an existing pole that was very close to the garage; Dunn Develop. came up with a plan to move our house meter to our garage, bringing the electric underground. They worked closely with the electric company to get placed a new, better-located pole, to hook us up. We were in business! We are in a heavily wooded area and having the electric service underground is very desirable. All permitting and inspections went exceedingly well. All told, we have received many compliments on our garage. We are very pleased with the work, professionalism and courtesy of the crews. And, we stayed in budget.
