> We hired Tekne to do our kitchen remodel as well as a small electrical job in our kids’ playroom. We met with several contractors over a two year period and found it hard to find the right team for the project. Unfortunately many were unprofessional, under qualified, overpriced and even unresponsive. When we met with Jeff and James, we were pleased with their responsiveness and professionalism. They are honestly just really nice guys! Their pricing was reasonable and fair. We found our team and moved forward on the project. They did a great job on our kitchen and really take pride in their work. They do it with a smile and professionalism you would expect from a contractor. Bringing contractors into your home for a big project can be very overwhelming and stressful, but they do their best to make it as easy on the customer as possible. We really appreciated that! There were a couple hiccups with subs and Tekne was quick to resolve it to our satisfaction. We are very happy with our kitchen and would use Tekne again for future projects.

Our project consisted of complete gut out of our back room living area and adding to that to create a third bedroom, new roof, complete gut and remodel of two bathrooms, new plumbing, and upgraded electrical panel. This was our first time going through the construction process and we hoped for the best as alot of the times you hear about whore stories of construction gone bad. This was not the case with James and Jeff and their team. We were walked through each process every step of the way, they were readily available via text, email, or phone call. What type of granite is this?

A: I am sorry that I am just responding to this message!  I believe that it was called "Gold Coast" or something to that effect.  Please let me know if you are looking to do a remodel in the Orange County area.  We would love to give you a bid.

Can you tell me the dimensions of the island?  Thank you!

A: Hello this  was a large diamond shape approx. 12' from corner to corner. You need a large floor space to do this. If I where to do this one again I  would add about 1 more foot to each side of the cooktop to allow for more room for the chef. Thanks for inquiry.
